Liam’s POV
“Are you ready for your show in the dress rehearsal?” I asked Sarah who sat next to me in the basketball arena. Since Sarah’s show is right before me, her club show always sits next to mine which means we get to sit next to each other when we’re not on stage. As usual, Harry and Jenny sit on the other side of Sarah, but they’re carrying their own conversation away from Sarah and me.
“I guess, I haven’t performed in costume in a while,” Sarah answered nervously. Sarah smoothed her black one-shouldered, long sleeved dress and black leggings as if she was still not comfortable in the outfit.
“You’ll do great. You were amazing yesterday,” I admitted honestly. “The twirling between the five of you was incredibly in-sync. I was impressed and so was the rest of the club,”
“Thank you, Liam,” Sarah responded quietly, “I liked watching you on stage on well in your suit and tie running around as James Bond. You definitely stood out from among the group,”
“I’m not supposed to do that, but thanks anyway,” I answered nervously.
“I hope after the rehearsal all of us get a group picture or maybe after your show we can since Niall performs two shows later,” Sarah told me. “We all look so funny dressed up. I mean Jenny has two outfits, her large part as a commoner and then the fancy princess dress,” Sarah motioned her head towards Jenny wearing her top outfit of a white blouse and a long tartan skirt. “Then you have Harry in his Braveheart ensemble,” Harry was wearing a blue tartan kilt with a blouse identical to Jenny’s and a black sporran. Don’t forget Harry’s fabulous painted face of blue and white, his locks are also parted clear from his face.
“I’m wearing my magical sword garb,” Sarah teased as she held up her sword that was really light and good for twirling, “And then you’re the most normal person between us as a British Secret Service agent. Of course, let’s not forget Niall dressed up in pirate garb complete with eye patch and a fake black mustache,” Sarah pointed towards the Cavaliers’ all wearing realistic pirate outfits. Niall was in the middle sporting a brown coat, brown trousers, a white shirt like pirates wore, and a brown pirate hat along with his interesting facial features Sarah pointed out. I believe the mustache is made out of felt if Niall told me the other day when he put it on.
“Well, Cara dressed pretty normally as a beach tourist,” I counteracted. Cara had a Hawaiian style shirt and shorts just like the rest of her large part. “Zayn on the other hand is just hilarious,” Zayn was wearing a tan spandex top mainly to cover tattoos and nipples (but it still left none to the imagination on his physique) with a giant grass hula skirt. Probably Zayn’s funniest accessory was the coconut bra he wore over his pectorals.
Sarah laughed in agreement. Zayn looked at us though and we stopped immediately, but I’m pretty sure he could tell we were watching him. Our attention got diverted quickly when sounds came from the entrance in the arena. I turned my head towards the exit to see the chef show come in. For a show that was only about passing culinary school, it was actually a clever show.
Once they were seated down, Zoe, Sarah’s director, stood up and ushered the Scottish show away to get set up for their show to run. Sarah waved at me as she quickly left the stadium to join up with her small part. I sighed heavily as I waited for Sarah to come back. As her group left, one of my directors approached me.
