Zayn’s POV

Erin, the president, has called a meeting between all the officers and me to discuss Signature Week and then Club Week.  We met in a small classroom in the science building and no one is around to hear our secret Theta Mu discussions.  “First off, before we can the official reasons why we are, I want to say on behalf all of Theta Mu, congratulations on your engagement!  That’s great news!  I know you talked to me before the engagement and I still stand on my position you can still be our unofficial beau until the beauing ceremony at the end of this semester.” Erin proclaimed to everyone.  “Does anybody disagree?”

No one disagreed instead they all clapped and told me congratulations.  I haven’t seen the girls in awhile, so I’m glad they approve even though they haven’t even met Perrie.  “Will we ever get to meet her, Zayn?  Perrie?” Marsha, the vice president, asked me.

“I haven’t asked her about meeting you girls.  I don’t think she would oppose to it since you are just a bunch of my friends.” I told them.  They started squealing like little girls at the possibility.

“Is there anyway, we can do a shower for her, just us girls?” Laura asked me.  Her hazel eyes looked innocently at me.  I have a hard time believing the club would want to do this, but I see the girls really want me to feel like I’m a part of the club even though I’m not official.  I guess they’re doing it as a way to say thanks.

“Sure, you can vote on that whenever our next meeting is.  We can always use more items for our new apartment in England,” I tell them.  The girls chuckle slightly with each other and Erin clears her throat.

“Yay!  I can’t wait!  She’ll have to be here when we do it.” Erin said with a huge smile on her face.  I forget how sweet all the girls are in this club can be.  Most of the time they’re rather crazy, but I still love them.  “All right, is Zayn the only one here who does not the drill on Signature Week?” She asked us.

“I don’t either,” Laura said raising her hand.  No one else did, so Erin proceeded.

“All right, basically the all the pledges need to get all the signatures of all the girls who are active in the club.  They do not have to get signatures from the partially active, inactive, or beaus.  So, there’s not much you have to do Zayn.  However, they are strongly encouraged to meet said members so I’m sure you’ll still receive foot traffic,” Erin informed me.  “For everyone besides Zayn, you may make the girls do something in order to your signature as long as it is reasonable.”

“So if I’m totally stressed out tomorrow, I can order one of them to get coffee for me in exchange for a signature?” Laura said with a really optimistic face hoping for a yes.  Erin thought about her answer.

“Yes, but you better give them the money to buy it.” Erin answered. “You cannot make them give you money.  However singing a song or doing something like that is totally acceptable.”

“Do my laundry?” Marsha asked with a sinister grin.

“As bad as yours is right now?  Nice try, but no.” Erin answered back quickly.  “Any more questions?  Are we good on the parameters on what you can ask them to do?”

“I think so, dear.  We probably should get to Club Week duties and planning,” Cindy answered.

“Awesome, let’s get to work then.  How much do you know about our club, Zayn?  How much have I educated on it?  I probably should help you with all the stuff you should know,” Erin asked me.
