Chapter 21

Queen Moon's P.O.V

"It's about Star." both me and River said at the same time.

"What about Star?" King Lucitor and Prince Thomas asked us.

"Prince Thomas, you know my daughter well enough. And both me and my husband River have agreed on something." I told him.

"Well, can you please tell us." King Lucitor and Queen Lucitor asked us.

"Marriage between our children." River said. All of the Lucitor's were shocked to hear this. "Hear me out please." I told them and King Lucitor nodded. "You see, if something bad happens in Mewin, weather it be a battle or war, and if both me and River were to, die. Then Mewin would need a queen and king. The Queen being Star and well the King being Thomas." I paused so that the Lucitor's could process what I had just said.

"So basically if Mewin were in a battle or war and you have nothing else to offer to us, the offers being money, jewels, resources ect. then the very last option would be you daughter Princess Star." King Luictor said.

"Correct." I told him.

"But why Thomas?" King Lucitor asked.

"Because both me and my husband have agreed that Prince Thomas would be the best option since they have dated before and I would like Star to marry a Prince she knows well and can get along with. But that's only if you, your wife and your son are okay with it." I told him.

King Lucitor looked at his wife and son. "Honey are you okay with this?" King Lucitor asked his wife and she agreed with us. "What about you son? Are you okay with this?" King Lucitor asked his son and his son looked over at me and River. "If this is the best for Mewin and the best for Star then I'm okay with it."

"Very well I will make the paperwork and I will be here early in the morning. Goodbye King and Queen Lucitor. Goodbye Prince Thomas." I told them and me and River left.

Marco's P.O.V

Both me and Star were watching tv when all of a sudden a thought crossed my mind. "Star is there school on Mewin?" I asked my best friend and she gave me a weird look.

"Well it's not like earth school, I had princess lessons. My mom taught me everything I needed to know about being a princess." Star told me.

"What did she teach you?" I asked her. "She taught me a lot of things like how to write perfectly in cursive and she taught me all the main dances of each kingdom. You know just the regular princess stuff." Star said.

"So... if you know how to dance then that must mean you know how to sing and or play an instrument." I said.

"Yep, I know how to sing and I can only play the piano." Star said. "Cool!" I told her and I didn't get a response instead I got a sigh. "Star? What's wrong?"

"Being a princess isn't 'cool' it's a lot of work. Being royal isn't a joke, you have to act properly and not be 'wild'. That's how my mom puts it anyways. But the worst part of being royalty is arranged marriage. You don't get a word or thought about it. Once it's on paper and both of your parents choose and agree on the prince then it's official. To me that is the biggest downfall in being a princess." Star said.

"Have your parents chosen your husband to be if there'll be an arranged marriage?" I asked her and the look on her face said it all. She looked scared but at the same time she had a small smile.

"No they haven't. They would have told me if they did."

"But what if they didn't tell you. Who do you think it will be?" I asked her and she had a worried face.

"Well, maybe some prince I will hate but knows how to rule a kingdom and act properly." Star told me.

Star P.O.V

"Well Marco I'm going to sleep, night." I got up from the sofa and went to my room. But the thing Marco said did linger my mind.

"But what if they didn't tell you. Who do you think it will be?"

"Don't be silly Star, my parents will tell me." I said out loud.
