Change of Heart

Chapter 17

I woke up with a big smile on my face. "I get my wand today!"

I quickly got dressed and did my hair. Once I was done I walked downstairs only to see my mom and dad talking to some guards.

"Mom, I'm going out I will be back." I told her and before she could reply I was already out the doors.

I walked down the streets of Mewin and everyone greeted me. I kept walking to one of my favorite place on Mewni.

I saw a bunch of flowers and a small lake. I sat down and let out a sigh. I picked up a flower and smelled it. I sat there looking at the lake but what I saw made me smile. "A unicorn!"

I sneaked up and before I knew it I was riding a wild unicorn.

I rode the unicorn all the way back to the castle and I quickly got off and landed in front of my mom. I was so happy that I was biting my nails.

"Star," my mom started talking but I blocked her out and I was already thinking on how much fun I will have with my wand.

Once my mom gave it to me it changed. My wand is purple and has a golden star in the middle with some wings and a cute small crown on top.

"Thanks mom! Thanks dad!" I gave them a hug. "Go outside and try it out." my mom said. I gave her a nod ran outside.

"Super glittery rainbow!" I said and I looked up only to see a rainbow, but then everything went wrong when the rainbow lit up.

I quickly heard people scream and I bit my bottom lip. "Princess Butterfly, come with us please." I heard a guard say. I nodded and followed them all the way back to the castle.

"Star, go up to your room and start packing. AND hand over your wand." my mom ordered me. "Why?" I asked her. "Just do as I say." my mom said strictly. I started to walk up the stairs to my room.

When I walked into my room I let out a small gasp. What I saw on my bed made my heart stop. I ran up to my bed and I looked at the three items on my bed. There was a bouquet of red roses, a red envelope and a red box.

I picked up the envelope and opened it and there was a letter.

Dear Star,
I'm so happy that you finally got your wand. Congrats! But Star I miss you. Ever since we broke up I been upset and I can't stop thinking about you. It kills me. But for some random reason the only thing that makes me happy is knowing that you still wear the horns headband. And I hope you love the present I got you!

That's when I felt a small tear drop fall from my eye. I looked over at the red box and I picked it up. "No!" I grabbed everything that Tom gave me and put it in a pink box except my horns.

I sighed and packed up all my belongings, including the pink box. I yelled for guards to come and take my belongings downstairs.

I walked out of the castle only to see my mom and dad standing next to a carriage. And then I realized that they were going to send me to Saint Olga's Reform School for Wayward Princesses. I dropped to my knees and grabbed my mom's dress.

"No!" I yelled. "I can be good! Please don't send me to Saint Olga's Reform School for Wayward Princesses!" I said.

"Sweetheart we're not sending you there." my dad told me. I quickly stood up and smiled. "Yet." my mom said afterwards. "We're sending you to train in a safer dimension, a place called earth." my dad said.

"Earth?" I questioned.

"ManFred, open the portal." my dad told ManFred.

"Goodbye Mewni." I said sadly.

My Parents took me to a place called Echo Creek Academy. All three of us walked into a room and there was a chubby man with glasses sitting down.

"So you say you're from another dimension." I heard the man say.

I got distracted when I saw something on the wall. I pushed it up and down and the lights went off and on. I looked over at my parents. "And you said there was no magic on earth."

"Yeah ... This isn't gonna work." the man said. Then my dad pulled out a box full of gold coins and jewels. "She is gonna love it here!" the man said.

"She's going to need a guide." I heard my dad say to the chubby man.

Marco's P.O.V

I was sitting down on my desk writing down notes when suddenly I heard my name from the school speakers. "Marco Diaz to the principal's office."

"Ooh, looks like someone's in trouble." I got up from my chair and looked at the class. "So, I guess everyone who voted me Safest Kid must be feeling pretty embarrassed right about now." I walked up to the teacher and asked her if I need a hall pass.

"Would you just go already!" my teacher said.

I walked towards the principal's office and I saw a blonde girl with him. She must be new. "Marco! I want you to meet our new foreign exchange student Star Butterfly!" the principal said.

I looked over at her and she was getting mad at a water fountain. "Huh?" I said out loud.

"I need a responsible never take a chances type to keep an eye on her, and who better than you? The safe kid!"

"What?! No, no, no, I'm completely wrong for this. I'm a misunderstood bad boy!" I said.

The principal pinched my cheek. "You're adorable! Now I'm off to the ice cream shop. Daddy's getting all 52 flavors." the principal said and walked off.

Huh. I looked over at the blonde girl whose name is Star Butterfly and she's bitting the water fountain.

Great this is going to be just fun. I thought to myself.
