Chapter 18

Marco's P.O.V

It's been about a week and me and Star are best friends. She told me all about herself, I even met her best friend from Mewin whose name is Ponyhead. And she has even met my two best friends Ferguson and Alfonzo.

Right now I'm sitting on Star's bed. "Down? Ponytail? Pigtails? Braids?" Star said to herself. Star looked over at me. "What do you think I should do Marco?" Star asked me.

"Honestly Star just choose one hairstyle." I told her. That's when I finally realized something, her horns. "Hey Star can I ask you a question."

"Sure." Star said still trying to choose a hairstyle. "Why do you always wear those horns?" I asked her. That's when Star stopped and looked at me. "Their my favorite." Star said not looking at me.

"So if their your favorite then that must mean either Ponyhead or your boyfriend gave them to you. Assuming if you do have a boyfriend." I said.

"Pony didn't give them to me." Star said. "Then that must mean your boyfriend gave them to you." I told her.

"No I-I never had a boyfriend. And don't you dare bring up any conversations about me and boys." Star said looking down at the floor.

"Sorry. So what are you going to do?" I asked her. "I'm going to go hang out with Janna. What about you?" Star asked me. "I'm just going to stay here and have a boys night with Ferguson and Alfonzo." I told her.

We both heard the doorbell ring and went downstairs. I opened up the door and saw that it was Janna. "Hey Marco." Janna said in a creepy voice. "Bye Marco! Have fun!" Star said and left with Janna.

It's been about a whole two hours and Ferguson, Alfonzo and I have watched movies, played video games and even board games.

"Marco I'm bored. Let's make some prank calls." Ferguson said. "Yeah!" Alfonzo agreed. "But who are we going to prank call?" I asked. I thought about it and I quickly had an idea. "Follow me."

All three of us went into Star's room and I walked up to her mirror. "Marco why are we looking at a mirror?" Both of my friends asked me. That's when I push a button and the mirror turned on.

"We all get one prank call." I told them.

Both Ferguson and Alfonzo called somebody random until it was my turn. "Dude you should call somebody in her contacts." Alfonzo said. I nodded and went to Star's contacts.

I scrolled down hoping I would see a guys name. My eyes caught a name that wasn't a girls name. Who's Tom? I thought to myself. "Call Tom." I told the mirror. "Calling Tom." the mirror said.

It rang twice and then a guy answered. A skeleton answered the mirror. "Tom." I said and the skeleton laughed.

"I'm not Tom, I'm Brian. Hold up I will get Tom for you." Brian said. I nodded my head. "OH PRINCE THOMAS!" Brian yelled and then laughed at the end. "WHAT DO YOU WANT I'M BUSY!" I'm guessing Tom yelled. That's when all of a sudden Brian had a wicked grin on his face. "SOMEBODY NAMED STARSHIP CALLED AND I ANSWERED IT!" Brian said. "WHAT!" I heard Tom yell.

Brian moved aside and I quickly saw a demon he had horns and three eyes. "You servant where's my Starship? I demand you to tell me where she is." Tom said and crossed his arms.

"Umm I'm not a servant and I'm not telling you where Star is." I told him and crossed my arms.

"Well by the looks of it I know you are not a guard and if you say you're not a servant, then what are you?" Tom said annoyed.

"I'm Star's best friend. Who are you?" I put emphasis on you.

"That's impossible Star doesn't have any guy friends. Plus her best friend is Ponyhead." Tom said.

I was about to correct him but I heard Star's door open and I looked over only to see Star's shopping bags on the floor and her eyes were wide open. And Janna stood next to her on her phone.

Star's P.O.V

I dropped my bags once I saw Tom on my mirror and Marco standing right in front of it. I walked up to Marco and stood in between him and my mirror.

"Bye Marco!" Both Ferguson and Alfonzo said and ran off. Janna took a seat on my bed.

"What are you doing in my bedroom on my mirror calling my contacts!" I asked Marco.

"I was just prank calling people. Why are you getting so worked up about this? I didn't do anything wrong!" Marco yelled at me.

I walked up to Janna and dragged her out of my room. "Bye Janna see you tomorrow." I told her and closed the door.

"I don't mind you prank calling people but I do mind you calling him." I pointed towards Tom who hasn't hanged up.

"Is Tom you're boyfriend or something because no girl would ever get so worked up about this." Marco said.

"No! Tom isn't my boyfriend. I-I just have him on my mirror for..." I turned my back on Marco and looked at Tom I looked straight into his eyes and even though he wasn't talking I could tell he was asking me if I was okay.

"For what Star!" Marco said. I turned around and looked at Marco.

"You know what Marco just ... just leave me alone! I hate you!" I could feel tears slowly starting to form. I hugged myself and dropped to the floor.

"Star are you okay?" I heard Marco say softly but soon after I heard a loud crash.

I felt arms pick me up bride style. I know exactly who picked me up. I wrapped my arms around him and snuggled into his chest and let my tears wet his shirt.

"I'm here Starship." I heard him say.
