Change of Heart

Chapter 13

I'm getting ready for my date with Tom but the only problem is I don't know what to wear. I have over a hundred dress and it's hard to choose which sucks because I know that I can't be late.

I looked through all my dresses and finally chose a simple baby blue dress. I heard a knock on my door. "Yes?" I asked. "Princess Star, prince Thomas Lucitor is here." I heard Manfred say.

I took one last glance at myself and walked out the door. I looked over at Manfred and smiled, "Thanks!" I told him and I walked downstairs to come face to face with Tom. I smiled once I saw him.

"Ready Star?" Tom asked me and I nodded my head. Tom pulled out his dimensional scissors and we walked through a portal only for me to see that Tom brought me to the same flower dimension.

"I thought we could have a picnic here." Tom told me. "It's perfect!" I said. Tom grabbed my hand and we walked towards a tree. Tom pulled out a red blanket and we both sat down. "I hope you like sandwiches and I also brought you a cupcake." Tom pulled out two sandwiches and two cupcakes. "Yummy!" I said and we started to eat.

Once we were both done eating we just sat there looking at all the beautiful flowers around us.

"Star would you like to know why I brought you here?" Tom said. I nodded my head.

"Well it may sound cheesy, but I brought you here because this is the first place my parents had their date. My dad told me that this place is a magical place to bring the person you care about the most." Tom grabbed both of my hands and looked right into my eyes. I swear I could feel my heartbeat beating faster.

"Oh Tom that is so romantic. And it's definitely not cheesy." I told him and he smiled at me.

Tom P.O.V

I was looking straight into Star's big blue eyes and I noticed that she has small little hearts in them. Without thinking I stood up and Star stood up too. "May I have this dance?" I asked her. "No." Star answered me and started to run away from me. I chased after her until she fell down and I started to laugh.

"That's not funny Tom! Now come help me up." I walked up to her and held out my hand. Star stood up and gave me a hug. "Don't ever laugh at me again. Got it." Star told me. "I can't help it. That was pretty funny." I told her.

"Hey can I stay over tonight? I don't feel like sleeping alone." Star asked me. "You're my girlfriend, you can stay over as long as you like! My parents won't mind." I told her. "Great! Now let's go. I'm kinda sleepy I want to take a nap."

Star P.O.V

I'm at Tom's house and he was right his dad and mom didn't mind me staying over. Maybe it's because I'm a princess or because I'm his girlfriend. Maybe both. I thought to myself.

Right now I'm laying down on Tom's bed while he's playing his video game. I saw a picture on his bedside table and it looked like a small baby Tom.

I grabbed it and started to aww which only caused Tom to look over at me. "You were so cute as a baby! Look at your little horns!" I showed him his picture. Tom walked over to me and grabbed his picture and placed it back on the bedside table.

"I thought you said that you were going to take a nap." Tom stood in front of me. "I am! But I was thinking if you could take a nap with me." I told him.

"Okay." Tom said. I moved over and Tom got under the covers and wrapped his arms around me. "Happy?" he asked me. "One hundred percent!" I told him. And with that we both fell asleep.
