Change of Heart

Chapter 29

Star's P.O.V
After the fight with Marco I finally went back to Tom's. "Are you ready to go?" I asked him.

"Yeah." Tom responded. I grabbed Tom's hand and with my dimensional scissors I opened a portal to a small open forest. "Do you like it?" I asked Tom. "Star it's beautiful." Tom said.

Tom's P.O.V

Star took me to a place I never been before it was in the forest, but it was different there was a crystal clear pond with fish and beautiful flowers of all different colors and the moon and stars were the only light sore around.

"This is beautiful Star. How did you find this place?" I asked her underneath the beautiful moon light.

"That's for me to know." Star pulled me towards the pond and pointed at the fish. "Tom look at how the fish scales are changing color." I looked and it was true each fish would change color from blue to green to red even pink.

"How is that possible?" I asked her. She laughed at me as if I knew. "They change color because of the moon. Do you wanna see something cooler than that?" Star asked me with a goofy grin on her face. "Sure Starship."

Star placed her index finger into the pond and all the fish changed color to the color yellow. I couldn't comprehend what was going on but at the same time I didn't want to know. "How?" I asked her.

"My mood changed their color." Star told me. "But why yellow?" I asked. "Yellow means happiness. Do you want to try?" Star asked me. I nodded my head. "Go ahead put your index finger into the pond."

I put my index finger into the pond and all the fish turned purple. "What does purple mean?" I asked. "Purple means that your in shock as in your amazed."

"Well I'm definitely amazed." I looked at her and smiled. "So what now?" I asked.

"We do nothing. Let's just lay down and enjoy this beautiful night together." Both of us laid on the grass and looked up at the stars.

Marco's P.O.V

I can't believe she slapped me. Why would she do that? Why?

Believe it or not I want to know more about Star's and Tom's relationship. How they meet. How they became a couple. But most importantly I want to know why they broke up.

And there's only one way I can know all of that besides asking Star. I once again called PonyHead and she answered.

"Marco stop calling me I'm busy." Pony said annoyed. "Okay fine I will stop calling on one condition." I told her.

"What's the condition?" Pony asked. "Tell me everything you know about Star's and Tom's relationship."

PonyHead rolled her eyes at me and let out a huge sigh. "Fine."

"They meet at a ball and as you know they had to dance. Both of them were the last two and something happened that night when they were dancing and me being Star's bestie I could automatically tell there was something happening between the two of them, I just couldn't pinpoint what." Pony stopped for a second and continued.

"That same night me, Kelly and Star had a sleepover at Star's place we were having fun and then Tom showed up." I raised my hand to stop Pony. "Tom showed up?!" I asked. "Yes now let me continue."

"After that night they started to hang out a lot and one thing led to another and before I knew it they were dating." PonyHead finished. "But how did they break up?" I asked.

"To be honest Star never told me how they broke up. She really didn't go into details." PonyHead said.

"Anything else?" I asked her. Pony nodded. "The next day after Star broke up with Tom she asked me to stay over and I did, but that night was horrible. I couldn't sleep."

"Why?" I asked Pony. "Because she was moving around in her bed and woke up screaming. I asked her if she had a nightmare and she told me that she did had a nightmare, but when I asked her what the nightmare was about she didn't give me an answer. My theory is that she probably had nightmares about Tom."

"You think so?" I asked. "Think so, I know so." Pony said. "How do you know?" I asked. "After the first nightmare she asked me if I could sleepover again and I did, but I didn't sleep because I knew she would probably have another nightmare and she did, but while she was sleeping all she kept saying was Tom." Pony finished.

"Thanks for the info Pony." I gave her a smile and she ended the call.

"I knew it! I knew Tom was horrible."

Tom's P.O.V

Both me and Star were laying down on the grass when all of a sudden Star got up. "Star what are you doing?" I asked her. Star ran towards me and grabbed my hand and pulled me up. "Dance with me."

I smiled and danced with her underneath the moon. Star was smiling at me and let out a small laugh. "Why are you laughing?" I asked. "Because of us. We have come so far and yet right here right now I feel as if we were still together." Star paused and looked at me with a look I seen to many times.

"As if things never changed. Just like we were a couple again." I said and she gave me a wide smile. Star pulled away and looked at the ground and then back at me.

"Tom, the reason why I brought you here was because I was going to ask you a big question." Star paused for a second and continued. "The question is, would you like to be my boyfriend again?"
