I sat watching the tv with my best friend Jonah but it was weird. Like there was tension between us. I mean there could be. Recently I've started to have feelings towards him which is awful because I'm in a relationship with Jack. The three of us are in a band along with two others. Zach and Daniel. Daniel is with a girl who he very much loves. Zach is single but has a crush on someone but is against telling us who. Jonah also has a crush but is also against telling us who.
I grabbed the remote from Jonah's lap and turned off the tv causing Jonah to turn his head in my direction.
"Corbs, what's up?" He asked me, turning his body slightly so he could face me better which I did the same as well.
"I wanna know what is wrong with you," I stated firmly. Suddenly he tensed up.
"What do you mean?" He asked, playing dumb.
"Don't play dumb. We both know something is bothering you and it has to deal with me because you're only acting strange towards me. With the rest of the guys, you are fine," I explained to him while he sighed in defeat.
"Fine," he sighed.
"I like you Alright! Well more like love. I'm in love with everything about you. From your beautiful eyes to your blonde hair to your interest in space and everything in it. As well as your amazing personality. The way you smile when someone asks you anything about space. Which is why I constantly ask you about it. Just to see you smile. And I know you're with jack and I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to fall in love with you but I just did. And I tried to deny my feelings but I can't. Not anymore," he confessed as my breath got caught in my throat.
"I like you Jonah, I really do. More then I should. Especially when I have a boyfriend. But I can't keep dating someone who I don't have feelings anymore. Just give me tonight. And I'll break up with jack so we can be together. I've been waiting for this moment for way to long," I told him as he released a big smile. And started to lean in.
"Sorry Jonah. But I don't cheat on people. I'm not a cheater," I told him, putting my hand on his mouth in order to prevent from us to kiss.
