-Jonah's POV-

"I said no Jonah," Jack said, rejecting me once again causing me to sigh in defeat but let him walk away.

I had no clue what I was doing wrong, every time I tried asking him out on a date, he would just reject me. I've liked him for two years now. Only this year, I finally got the courage which is strange since I'm probably the most popular guy here at school. Yes, I have girls and guys throwing themselves at me but I don't want them, I want Jack. I came out as bisexual only six months ago and everyone was really supportive. I was so happy and grateful for that.

But I want Jack because he was something different. He didn't throw himself at me. He had self respect and had morals unlike others. He treated me normal and not like he was using me, he didn't care for my reputation. He would put me in my place without a care. He stood up for himself. He didn't let anyone walk over him. And he was the first person to ever reject me which just caused me to want him more. I loved a good challenge and he definitely was one. One I wouldn't mind overcoming for the rest of my life. I wanted Jack but now I had no idea as to how to get him.

People like expensive dates and gifts right? I mean I told him I would take him to the new Italian place that just opened up near us and was expensive as hell but he rejected me. My parents are both well known lawyers and never lose a case which is why they are so popular. Everyone wants them as their lawyer. But my parents charge a lot for their time. I wouldn't say that I don't brag my money but I do on some occasions.

I walked out of the school and headed towards my car. I hoped in and was glad I decided to take my car today since right when I got in, it started to rain. Not to hard but also not light/gentle. I started my car and drove to the exit to get out of the school parking lot. That's when I noticed someone familiar walking. Not wanting to be a horrible person, I drove next to them and was shocked to see that it was Jack.

I honked my horn causing Jack to look over. I signaled him to come in which he did.

I took off my jacket while he climbed in and closed the door.

"You can take off your jacket and book bag and put them in the backseat," I told him which he immediately did then shivered in the seat.

"Here you go," I said and handed him my jacket which he didn't refuse and immediately put on. Then I turned on the heater in my car on full blast to warm up Jack.
