-Jonah's POV-

Numb. That's all I feel. My emotions are froze. I don't feel anything. I can't sleep, I can't eat, I can't function right.

My bandmate also known as the love of my life has passed away. He was involved in a car accident. He slipped into a coma but never woke up from it. It was so hard to say goodbye.

The hardest part of all is saying goodbye and accepting that the person you spent everyday with is now gone. You won't be able to see them again. They won't be here with you anymore.

I get mad at others who keep smiling and laughing as if nothing happened while my whole life was changed and will never be the same again.

But life moves on, earth keeps turning, with or without you. It's hard to think of my future now that Daniel will no longer be in it. Daniel was the one who kept our band at ease.

He played us songs when we couldn't sleep, he created our beats most of the time, he was our sunshine. He was our rock. And now that he's gone, it's like we can't function.

The boys and I are all closed off with one another. We all headed to our homes to cope with our loss. Our fans are devastated. We lost an angel who can never be recovered.

My life along with the band will never be the same.

I looked at my phone screen, seeing a picture of Daniel and I as my lockscreen.

A tear ran down my cheek and onto my phone as I thought of all our memories. And I let out a sob as the memory of the doctors telling us that Daniel has passed away in his coma.

~Flashback~

Corbyn, Zach, Jack, and I rushed inside the hospital. It was 4 in the morning when a call from the hospital woke us up. Telling us to get to the hospital as fast as we could.

"We are here for Daniel Seavey," Corbyn said to the front lady, panting hard from our run.

"Yes, I am so sorry. Please head to room 202, second floor," she informed us with a frown on her face, making us even more confused and anxious then ever.

We all quickly headed to elevator and glad that it came quickly. We cramped inside and pushed the "2" button. The elevator taking us up.

We all got out as the elevator doors opened and walked to room 202.

"Is this the family of Daniel Seavey?" Asked a doctor that stood in front of Daniel's door.

"Yes," said Zach immediately.

"I am sorry to tell you that Daniel has sadly passed away. He died in his coma," said the doctor as my whole world stopped in that very moment.

"I'll give you time to say goodbye," said the doctor then walked away.

We all stayed silent, no one saying a word nor moving. It was like we couldn't move. Like we were frozen. We just lost a friend, a family member, a brother. And the pain was so unbearable to handle.

"I'll go in first," said Jack, breaking the silence. We all nodded silently as he walked in.

After some time, he walked out then walked in Zach. Once Zach was done, Corbyn walked in. Corbs then walked out and it was my turn.
