Prompt: Jonah realizes that he and Zach can't work out until he comes out as gay to the school.

-3rd person POV-

-2 weeks later-

It's been two weeks since Zach ran out of the school. He's become depressed. He can't eat, he can't think, he can't focus, he can't even sleep. His mind running 24/7. It won't power off.

He goes to school, shows up, zones out, and then out of school. Once he gets home; he goes straight to his bedroom. Many of his friends, family, and even peers are worried about him. Zach used to be the happy one. Always happy no matter the circumstance but this was a whole new side of Zach that no one had ever really known until now. Until now that he was broken.

Zach can't even glance at Jonah. The little glimpse he gets out of the corner of his eyes, makes tears fill up his eyes. His mind going back to that horrible sight that broke him.

But Jonah, he had a plan. A plan to get Zach back. He couldn't stand seeing Zach like this. He couldn't stand seeing the love of his life broken because of him.

It was lunch time and it was time for his plan to go into action.

Jonah walked up onto the stage that was in lunchroom for some random reason that nobody really knew why.

As he walked, all eyes suddenly turned to him. The luncheon became quiet as they waited for Jonah to talk about whatever he was gonna talk about.

"Hey," said jonah awkwardly, not knowing how to say what he wanted to say.

"You sensed the lying sack of bitch shit," Jonah said randomly as everyone laughed. (A/n: I heard this while I watching YouTube on my laptop and writing on my phone and I laughed so hard. I just had to add it in 😂😂 sorry y'all)

Jonah laughed nervously as he took a deep breath.

"I think it's time for me to come out," Jonah chuckled nervously as his peers looked at him in confusion.

"I'm not straight. I'm gay," Jonah came right out as many gasps were heard around the lunchroom.

"And I'm in love with an amazing boy who we all know. Zach Herron," Jonah confessed as all eyes turned towards Zach who looked at Jonah in shocked.

"I'm not saying you have to forgive me Zach. I did something horrible. I'm not going into details due to privacy. I'm so extremely sorry for everything I did. For all the pain I have caused you." Said Jonah as he walked off the stage and headed towards Zach's table.

"I love you so much Zach, it took two weeks for me to notice that I cannot live without you. You kept me sane. I love you Zach and I hope you can take me back." Said Jonah as he approached Zach's table.

Corbyn and Daniel stood up from beside Zach and stood in front of him, stopping Jonah from coming any closer to their dear best friend Zach.

"Corbs, dani," whispered Zach but was definitely heard as you could hear a pin drop in the lunchroom.

"I don't trust him Zachy," whispered Corbyn to Zach.

"He made a mistake," Zach defended Jonah.

"A mistake that left you broke Zach," Daniel said as Zach frowned up at him due to Zach still sitting down.

"But I still love him," said Zach.

"Fine," both Daniel and Corbyn groaned. Coming soft as Zach pouted up at them.

Daniel and Corbyn both moved out of the way so Zach stood up, coming face to face with Jonah. But Corbyn and Daniel stood by Zach's side.

"I don't need to forgive you. You have hurt me way more then I could ever imagine you would. I am in amazing person who absolutely deserves better because I know my worth." Said Zach as girls clapped causing Zach to giggle. But Jonah nodded knowing that every word Zach had spoken was right.

"But fortunately for you, I still love you and I  forgive you," Zach said as he pulled Jonah into a kiss.

Jonah stood frozen for a few seconds but started to move his lips in sync with Zach's as claps were heard from around the lunchroom.

Jonah smiled into the kiss, happy that his peers accepted him. But he was worried for when he gets home. Knowing someone would tell his dad. An enemy of his to be specific. But he lived in the moment. He didn't want to worry about his homophobic father.

"This is us," Jonah whispered to Zach as he pulled him in for another kiss. Both enjoying the moment. The moment seemed so perfect for both. Their secret relationship was out and they could both do things in school without the worry that someone could be watching them. Or them being caught.

Zac and Zendaya are such amazing actors and people! And Zendaya is so fucking beautiful y'all 😍😍 she slays every outfit she puts on!

Random fact: Zac was actually my first ever crush 😂😍 and still is one (of them) to this day. 😂😂Ahhh the high school musical days 😭😭 my favorite movies ever!
