So I wasn't gonna update today but it's Jonah's birthday! And I passed my learners today! Which I'm so happy about 😆😆

Prompt: Zach and Jonah have been dating for some time now but have kept a secret. Jonah is scared to come out. He's the most popular kid at school and for him to come out as a gay could be a huge sacrifice for him.  But Zach is tired of hiding their relationship. So will Jonah pick his reputation over Zach??

-Zach's POV-

I let out a sad sigh once Jonah walked away from me and towards his group of friends. Jonah's my boyfriend and has been for almost a year now. People at school have no idea that we have been dating. He's scared to come out meanwhile I'm out. People don't bully me but sometimes there is a remark towards me. But nothing I can't handle.

At times, it feels like Jonah loves his reputation more then he loves me. But I can't out Jonah. Girls throw themselves at him and it breaks my heart when I see him flirt back to keep up the straight act.

-1st period-

I walked down the hall, heading towards the bathroom, after asking the teacher for permission. But then I heard two voices from around the corner. Me being the nosy person I am, tip toed to the corner and peaked my head around.

My eyes went wide when I noticed it was Jonah and Tessa. Tessa was a really nice girl on the cheer team. She was incredibly nice to anyone and everyone. No matter what "group" they belonged to. Hint as to why she was loved and adored so much at our school.

Jonah was hovering over her as her back was against the lockers.

-3rd person POV-

"Jonah, no, I can't. I know you're with Zach," Tessa revealed as his and Jonah's eyes went wide.

"No I'm not. And I'll prove it to you by taking you out on a date," Jonah said, his first mistake that caused a crack to cut in Zach's heart as soon as he heard Jonah speak those words.

"Jonah, you don't have to hide it from me or anyone," Tessa said softly.

"I am not gay," Jonah said as his heart ponded in his chest. No one in school could know. They might tell his dad and that is something Jonah couldn't risk to happen.

"Jonah," started Tessa but was cut off by Jonah's lips being placed on her own.

Zach let out a gasp causing Tessa and Jonah to look his way. Jonah's eyes widen once he noticed the pain and hurt look on his lover's face. It broke his heart to see Zach like this.

"Zach," trailed off Jonah as he took a step towards Zach.

"Don't," Zach stated as he shook his head.

"I can't do this anymore Jonah. I can't keep being hurt. I thought I could do it. But I can't. It's to much. I'm done. We're done," said Zach as he took off running and left the school all together. Going home to cry his poor little heart out that could no longer hold it all in. His heart had finally broken and given up. His heart could no longer hold up the wall that Zach had built around so it wouldn't break.

But it finally did. And there was nothing Zach could do to fix it. The wall had a crack in it and over time, it widen. And after seeing the love of his life kiss another girl, the wall came crumbling down. Letting Zach's tears come running down on him. Zach felt every pain, every hurt, in him. All those times, he hid the pain but not anymore. Now it was time for him to deal with them. But he couldn't alone. So he called his two best friends with his phone from his pocket and told them to skip for him. His best friends knowing that Zach never cried, knew it was an emergency.

So without any care, Corbyn and Daniel, stood up from their desks and ran out of the classroom. Not caring about the looks nor the teacher calling their name, they only cared about their best friend who had official broke.

As they rounded the corner they saw Jonah. And immediately they knew this was all his fault. It was his fault for their best friend being in so much pain.

"You better fucking watch your back Marais," yelled Daniel over his shoulder as they ran past him.

"You are dead the next time we see you," added Corbyn as they kept running.

Finally after 12 minutes of none stop running at their fastest pace they could, they finally arrived at Zach's House.

They bust open the door and immediately made their way up the stairs and into Zach's room, only to gasp at the sight.

Zach in the middle of the room as he looked around at his now destroyed room. Glass broken, objects thrown around the room, the polaroid  wall of him and Jonah torn apart as well as each Polaroid.

"Zach," Corbyn whispered as he took in the sight before him. Never has he seen Zach look so broken before. And absolutely crushed his heart.

Zach fell to his knees and let out a painful sob that broke all of their hearts. Corbyn and Daniel immediately rushing to their best friend's side and crushed him in the middle. Because Zach needed the love he never received from Jonah.

"I'm broken," he whispered into thin air while the two lovers also known as Zach's friend shared a look.

Determined to fix their broken friend and kick Jonah's ass.

"Like Selena said," started Daniel.

"If you are broken, you do not have to stay broken," finished Corbyn.

But Zach's only response was heartbreaking.

"I'm broken" meaning his mind was set only on that statement.
