-Zach's POV-
I stared out at the view, I was sitting on my balcony as it drizzled. My door was closed to keep the water out. New York looked amazing at night. The city that truly never slept. The city lights lit up the night. People rushed around, cabs honking, sirens going off. But today was not a beautiful day for me. The grey clouds that cried on us were my mood today.
Four months today. It's been four months since I see him. Four months since we've talked. Nothing was the same after that one night. After that one stupid night. God, I was so fucking stupid. So stupid to confess my feelings. I should have known that he didn't feel the same.
My best friend was gone. My best friend who I trusted, told everything to, was there for me, was truly now gone. All because of me. I made the mistake to tell him I loved him. As more then friends. He didn't feel the same. After that, everything went downhill. We weren't the same anymore. He felt awkward around me. I could tell. He tried not to see like it but I knew him to well.
Daniel James Seavey, my ex best friend and the person I love. Yes love, I still love him. How could I not? He was the perfect person. The guy of my dreams.
I remember the day I told him, the day that ruined everything.

"Hey dani! Come in," I told him, inviting him into my apartment that I shared with my best friend Corbyn. But he was out with his boyfriend Jonah.
"Hey Zach!" He greeted me as he walked in.
"What we doing today?" He asked, immediately heading towards my kitchen. Corbyn always bought the best snacks. So Daniel took advantage of that.
