"Anywhere I go I'm taking you," I started the song as many limelights smiled and began sining.
My eyebrows furrowed as my phone started to vibrate in my pocket, signaling I was receiving a phone call. I blew it off as a wrong number and continued on. But as the song continued, my phone kept on vibrating making me worried.
I decided to use our code for the boys to notice. We all had codes for on stage when we can't get close to each other talk but need to send messages.
I made sure to get their attention by purposely messing up, once their eyes were on me, I snapped twice, clapped my hands once, and ran a hand through my hair. Their eyes widen and quickly nodded. Daniel made his way towards me and blocked me from the sight of fans. I quickly pulled out my phone andsaw that I had 8 missed calls from Christina.
We all had the same code and it was mandatory for all of us to know what each one meant.
One snap and two claps meant an emergency but it could wait a bit.
I taped Daniel's elbow causing him to move back to his part. The boys turned their attention towards me. I held up a C then a plus then another C. Standing for Christina plus Corbyn. They nodded and became worried as well. Christina was like a sister towards them. And Christina was one to never call during a show. She was independent. So this was definitely alarming for all of us. She knew our schedule and has never called during a show unless an emergency. So this was big.
I could no longer focus on the show. I was worried sick. My dancing was off so was singing. The fans immediately caught on. Plus Daniel getting in front of me from earlier didn't help either. My mind kept coming up with so many scenarios as to why Christina could be calling. And none seemed to ease my mind a bit.
