-Daniel's POV-

"We'll leave you guys some alone time," said Corbyn as Zach and Jonah nodded and headed out the door.

You might be wondering what they are talking about so I'll explain it. Jack, another of my bandmate, and I like each other, a lot. But he doesn't want to date. He's to scared. He's been hurt before and is afraid to open up again. He's afraid to love again and nothing breaks my heart more then seeing the hurt in his eyes.

I headed up the stairs to talk to him about it. I'm tired of us not acting on our feelings when we both like each other. I get he's scared but I'm not his ex. I'm nothing like that. I would never hurt jack.

"Jack," I softly spoke as I knocked on his bedroom door.

"Come in," he called and I let myself in.

"What's up?" He asked as I laid beside him on his bed.

"I wanna talk," I trailed off as he looked at me to continue. "About us," I finished and frowned as he looked away.

"Dani, I can't," he said as my heart dropped but anger boiled inside of me. And I knew I was gonna burst soon.

"Why not?" I asked after taking a deep breath, calming my anger down.

"You know why," he retorted.

And that's when I snapped.

"Oh my gosh jack! I'm tired of the same excuse. I get your scared. I truly understand, but how are you gonna find love when you're to scared to open up?! I'm tired of waiting for you. I've given you time like you've asked but I don't know if I can give you anymore time," I told him as my chest raised up and down at a rapid pace.

"I know you've been hurt before. I can see it in your eyes. You try to smile through the pain but they're some things your eyes can't hide. I'm not your ex. I want to love you. I want to be there for you when you need me. I won't ever hurt you. I just want you to let me in. Give your heart a break from holding up at that wall that you've wrapped around your heart," I told him softly as I inches closer to him. As he gulped.

"Dani, I wanna love you. I really do. But I'm scared. I'm so scared. He left so many scars and I don't want to trust someone like that again." He admitted.

"But you've showed me. Showed me that you're here to stay. And I couldn't be anymore grateful. But at the same time, terrified. My heart says to give you a chance but my mind. Gosh my mind always doubts it. And questions you. Like what if you turn out to be just like him. Or what if you hurt me just like him." Rambled jack on as my heart broke from realizing how hurt he has been.

I grabbed his hand which caused him to stop rambling and look at me as we held eye contact.

"If you love me, if you trust me, if you want to give us a chance, let your fears go, take a chance, and let's see what happens together." I told him as we held eye contact and held each other's hand tightly.

"Give your heart a break." I whispered and he nodded, leaning forwards and connecting our lips together. And in that moment, when my lips touched his, I knew that our love would last forever. And I don't plan on letting him go. Not now, now ever.
