Prompt: Zach and Isla (Jack's little sister) go to school but an accident has occurred where they get held back. After a while, a bus is ready to take them home. Zach and Isla get off at their spot but it's dark and Isla is scared. So Zach is there to always remind her that he will be there when Jack can't be.

-Zach's POV-

"No I can't find her. I'm stuck at my school!" I yelled into my friend's phone since me being the dumb person I am, forgot mine at home this morning.

"Wait, I think I see her!" I said while looking at the smaller children who were being transported from the buses out in front of our school and into my school.

Suddenly I caught sight of her which made me run up to her.

"Isla!" I yelled running towards her as she turned her head quickly.

"Are you ok?" I asked her once I reached her, pulling her into a hug.

"Zachy I'm scared." She whimpered, hugging me tight.

"Hey, hey, it's ok. You're fine. A bus flipped over. You're mom can't come get us because the bus flipped over on the road we live on and the road is closed. But it's ok alright. I've got you. You're gonna go into a classroom. I'll be out here trying figure something out alright. But no more crying Alright. If you stop crying, I will give you a piggyback ride when we got home and I'll let you smack jack once." I told her causing her to giggle but also nod at the compromise we made.

"Now go before you or I get in trouble." I told her. She nodded and hugged me one las time before following the rest of the kids that we're on the same bus as her and that we're being led to a classroom in the school.

Now you might be wondering why I can't call my parents. Well the thing is that they disowned me once I came out to them as gay. Lucky my boyfriend's parents took me in and I go to school and live with them. Now I'm 16, almost 17, while he's 18 and has already graduated.

"She's fine. She was taken off the bus and transported into a classroom at my school." I told Mrs. Avery, remembering that I was on the phone with her.

"Alright Zach thank you. Please keep her safe." I heard her tell me.

"Don't worry I will. She's like a sister to me." I told her while smiling.

"I gotta go. They're gonna announce something. I'll text you what it is." I told her in a hurry while getting closer to the principal as he held up his hand to catch people's attention as he stood on one of the circular tables that were located outside of the lunchroom.

"Alright honey. Take care of yourself and Isla." She told me. I said goodbye and hung up.

"Students listen up, I'm sure you guys have heard of the accident. It's true. A bus has flipped over. The kids who were injured have been transported to a hospital and they're parents/guardians have been called. We are working on getting busses to take you guys home. But if you want to text/call your parents to come pick you up, that would be highly suggested. And if you could take a friend home with permission from their parent, that would even better." Announced the principal then walked off like nothing.

Immediately, all my peers who had a phone, either started texting or calling their parents to come pick them up.

"Hey Zach, I'm leaving. I got my brother and sister." Said my best friend Corbyn while holding his little sister's hand while his 14 year old brother stood beside him.
