-3rd person POV-

Daniel shook out his hands, nervously for what he was going to. He never thought this day would come but it has finally happened. He was finally going to perform in front of people. Daniel was finally gonna sing in front of a crowd. He has been waiting for this day his whole life. Ever since he was five and picked up his first guitar. In that very moment he held the guitar, he knew exactly what he wanted to do with his life.

So Daniel picked up his guitar case, slipped his iPhone into his black skinny jeans pocket and straightened out his white shirt.

And with that, he walked out of the apartment that he shared with his best friend also known as Daniel's crush but Jack's boyfriend. He didn't tell Corbyn due to him performing a very special song tonight. As an artist, you had to use lyrics that others could relate to. Otherwise you won't be as successful.

On the other side of Daniel's room, his best friend and crush was getting ready for a date with Jack. Corbyn has decided on a black shirt with white skinny jeans and his checkered fans. And once he was ready, Corbyn walked to the place where he would meet Jack, not knowing that this would change something forever.

-Daniel's POV-

I nervously sat on the chair that was set on the middle of the stage. My heart beating so fast, my hands shaky, and my throat dry. I hadn't been this nervous ever since I came out to my parents.

"Hey," I said shakily to the mic as people smiled at me or just stared at me.

"I'm Daniel Seavey. I sing. And this my dream. I'll be playing an original, it's about me liking my best friend but he has a boyfriend. But personally I think he's better off with someone like me." I said. "So here I go," I told them as they clapped causing a smile at them.

I moved my guitar from my back to my front. I adjusted the strap to a more comfortable position and began strumming the chords to the song.

Once I started strumming, I leaned a little bit closer to the mic and began to sing the song that I had created, the lyrics inspired by Corbyn. (Song is actually by the vamps ft. Maggie Lindemann and is in the media if u wanna listen to it!) {instead of girl, Daniels sings boy k? K!}
