Okay I was not going to update today. Coz I had plan to update farmhouse but I m down with fever which is why I couldn't complete that chp. This was ready so I m posting it coz you'll have given lots of beautiful comments in last 2 parts. Anyways target is 200 comments (big once n inline).
Manik came out of his trances when the figures in his thought went away. Nandini was just looking at him. She knows how important a house is for any individual where he/she have spended their precious years of life be it childhood, teenage years or the house where the person had made a family.
Looking at each other Manik huffed and Nandini entwined their elbows. Before she could say anything Manik's eyes fell on the dining table and he remembered.
Manik and his dadi were sitting at the dining table for lunch. She had made simple yet yummy food for him. She was feeding him rice and gravy. Along with that she was teaching him mannerism, and differentiating good and bad while Manik like an obedient child was listening to her and eating quietly. He remembered every single word she had thought him coz it is said that small kids are like plain paper. Whatever you teach them will stay in their memory life long.
He came back in his senses and looked at Nandini. He pointed at the dining area and said.
Ma-yahan beth k dadi roz muje aachi baatein bolti thi........she use to teach me good manners.
He turned to Nandini and looked at her and said.
Ma-I don't know how I forgot her manners and turned a monster.
Tears made its way from their eyes. Nandini rubbed her palm on his heart and said btwn in tears.
Nan-you haven't forgotten anything........you just behaved they way people treated you..... good to good and bad to bad........you just grew up.......that's it.
Ma-then what bad you did to me to receive such behaviour of mine earlier.
Saying that he hugged her, hide his face in crook of her neck and cried a lot. Nandini wrapped her hands on his back and rubbing his back she said.
Nan-haven't you read the letter.........it was her prayers then got us together.......
She forcefully broke the hug to make him look at her and then said cupping his face.
Nan-aise bomb ki tarha thodi na tum pe aati.......then you wouldn't have fallen in love with me........they were the steps to our relationship........we had to climb it sooner or later........
She wiped his tears and said.
Nan-and i am glad that it happened sooner....... hai na.
Manik bobbed his head agreeing to her and hugged her again. After relaxing each other they moved away and then Nandini said holding his palms.
Nan-Manik.........let's spend our rest of the entire trip in this house......please.
Manik looked at the devastated condition of the house and asked.
Ma-are you sure?
Nandini understanding him asked.
