Avoid mistakes if any.
Next morning was the day of Nandini's parents death anniversary. She was feeling low and the puja was held early in the morning. So after she got ready she was busy in the preparations of the puja and then she lead the puja like every year.
Manik couldn't make it this time as those Istanbul clients have a final meeting today. The day passed quickly for them. Manik had talked to Nandini in the late afternoon when his meeting got over and the puja was over very soon.
He comforted her with his sweet talks and verbally expressing how much he is missing him. The day ended neither on the good note nor on the bad note. Another 2-3 days passed, and one evening from those days amms and Nandini were having their evening coffee.
Out of nowhere amms holded Nandini's palm and asked her being careful with her words.
Am-Nandu......ek baat bata.
Nandini bobbed her head and kept her coffee cup on the table that she was holding, while amms said further.
Am-kya tere aur Manik k bich pati patni jaisa rishta hai?
Nandini was a little surprised coz the first thing that came in her mind was their secret marriage and luckily before she could react or express anything, amms elobrated.
Am-mtlb bina shadi k tum dono k bich pati patni wala samband hai?
Now Nandini understood what amms meant and she immediately said.
Nan-nhi amms.......aisa kuch nhi hai.
Amms smiled in relaxation and then after a moment she said.
Am-muje galat mat samjna Nandu...... mei bas aise puch rhi thi.......waise koi darne ki baat bhi nhi hai kyu ki Manik tumse bahut pyaar krta hai......uski aankho mei dekhta hai aur muje tujpe bhi bahut bharosa hai......meri nandu kuch galat nhi karegi.
Nandini too smiled in acknowledgment and then said to tell how good Manik was coz it was only his idea to not get intimate without marriage and he have controlled a lot as well.
Nan-amms yeh idea bhi Manik ka hi tha abt marriage and all......
Though she wanted to tell her proudly but obviously it's difficult for any girl to talk abt physical relationship with their parents that's why Nandini's tone too got lowered at the end and amms smiled. To change the topic she said/asked.
Am-waise tum dono shadi ka kab soch rhe ho?
Nan-abhi nhi amms.......abhi Mukti aur Abhimanyu shadi ka soch rhe hai toh..... aur Aaliya ki pregnancy bhi hai aur woh chahti hai k mei uski delivery k time pe uske sath raho.
Am-mei bhi chahti ho k tu shadi k pehle yahan mangalore mei rahe mere sath.
Nandini just hhmmed in reply knowing the complications that would happen at that time with Manik. While amms smiled and resumed eating.
Anyways finally tomorrow it's going to be Nandini's birthday. Next morning Nandini woke up and got fresh and like every year Manik woke up at 4.00 with his alarm to wish his dear wifey but the call got missed as Nandini was in the bathroom. He waited for her and called her back after 15 mins and then he wished her.
