Later at evening, when Mr Malhotra came back from office and they were having their evening tea. Mr Malhotra said to Manik after taking a sip from his tea.
Mr m-Manik.......Istanbul k clients kaal aa rhe hai.
Ma-kaal......but dad unka schedule toh next month ka tha na.
Mr m-Haan but unki meetings cancel hogai so now they are already here in India....we have to conduct the meeting.
Manik was in a fix now, the meeting was extremely important and Nandini too was not feeling well and Nandini could easily read his expressions. To add it up Mr Malhotra spoke.
Mr m-and you know that they are very important for us.
Ma-but dad Nandini.......how can I leave her.
Mr Malhotra too was confused about the situation but then Nandini spoke.
Nan-Manik......tum kaal office jaoge.....don't worry dad.
Ma-kya office......you are not feeling well and
Nan-Manik I am fine......it's been 5 days now.....stop treating as a patient now......YOU ARE GOING AND THAT'S FINAL.
Now that Nandini had declared he will go to the office. Mr Malhotra smiled at their cute husband wife alike banter. Remaining time went on both the men's discussing abt the project and post tea break they went downstairs in study to prepare the presentation until they were called for dinner.
Next day, Manik was getting ready to leave for office and Nandini was around him because he was behaving like a school kid who threw his id and books everywhere in the house yesterday after coming from school.

Once everything was ready for him, Manik called Nandini to tie his tie. Nandini came with his tie and put it around his nape and started tying it. As per their ritual 😜Manik locked his hands around her lower waist and yanked her closer to him.
Blowing air on her hair he asked like a love sick puppy.
Ma-are you going to miss me today?
Nandini replied fully focused on his tie.
