After Karan was out of their sight, Nandini turned to Manik being conscious. She looked at his statue figure and straight face. She got scared and took his name slowly.
Nan-Manik.........
Manik looked at her and than said.
Ma-it's okay Nandini.........he is strong enough to let you go.........I wouldn't have let you go so easily.
Nandini smiled a bit as he talked maturely rather than behaving impulsively. Manik took her palm and said sweetly.
Ma-thank you........for loving me back.
And he smiled at her. Nandini came infront of him and they joined their foreheads.
After a moment they hugged each other beautifully. Nandini closed her eyes resting her head on his chest and than said softly.
Nan-I love you Manik..........
He kissed her head in reply and they stayed like that for a good time. After this Manik picked her up in bridal style and started walking towards his room. When he climbed the first stair Nandini asked him being panicked.
Nan-kya kr rhe ho tum..........kaha jaa rhe hai hum?
Ma-in the room......to sleep.
Nandini was more horrified and she said.
Nan-what sleep..........chodo muje........khana banana hai.........aur kya sleep.........ek ghanta nhi hova hai tumhe uth k and sleep........chalo utaro muje.
Coz they were on the stairs Manik didn't resist much to a wriggling Nandini and made her stand. Nandini looked at him with fake sharp eyes and walked towards the kitchen saying.
Nan-besharam aadmi.
Her cute acting, her cute tone and nowher cute walking style made Manik to smile and he followed her in the kitchen. When he again saw her, he saw Nandini gathering her pallu and tucking it on her waist, then she tied her hair in a neat bun and opened the fridge.
Then she removed a packet from it and came to the sink, picking a cooking pot she put that packet in it and on the tap. She was doing something and that's when Manik back hugged her scaring her.
Nan-huh! 😨
He kissed her ear making her feel ticklish.
Nan-Manik........kaam krne do.
Ma-Haan toh karo na.......mei kaha kuch kr rha ho.
And then he bite her neck, carefully. Not wanting to leave a mark there. Nandini gave up and continued her work and that's when Manik saw that she was washing something and that something was chicken.
Then she dried that so casually and turned to pick up few ingredients. He was shocked a bit and than asked leaving her from his hold.
Ma-is that chicken?
Nandini looked at him and the washed chicken and said casually.
