Next morning manan woke up with the ringing of alarm. Manik suggested to have shower first and asked Nandini to put butlers on work. Without brushing Nandini came down and instructed butlers to start their work while Manik took a quick shower. He came down and asked Nandini to freshen up while Manik was checking out all the arrangements.
After 15 mins Nandini came down all ready in her new Holi outfit and she purposely had made a straight hairline making it easy for Manik while Manik was looking after the final arrangements of the work.
Nandini quietly went in the kitchen and came out with her puja thali. Looking at Manik she came down in their study as the frame of her aiyappa was placed there. Manik followed her with a small plate filled with red colour.

They entered in one behind the other and stood in front of the frame of aiyappa. While Manik placed the colour plate on the study table. Nandini started doing aarti of God while Manik simply stood straight beside Nandini.
Praying to aiyappa with her closed eyes Nandini opened her eyes after 3-4 mins and turn to Manik. She feed him the sweet present in the plate wishing him happy Holi and blew the diya smoke on him by her palm to shower him with God's blessings. Manik gave her a warm smile and came near the colour plate. Nandini was just waiting for him.
He fisted the red colour and came to Nandini who was waiting for him with her smile. Manik held her waist and yanked her closer. Both looked at each other's eyes and than Manik raised his hand to fill her hairline.
Till the last moment Nandini was looking in his eyes but as soon as he rested his fist close to her hairline Nandini closed her eyes and Manik filled her hairline with happy and proud smile.
Nandini felt little of the colour falling on her nose as a good sigh and she smiled. Once she felt the absence of his hand Nandini slowly opened her eyes and looked at Manik who smiled and said softly.

She smiled brightly and then dipped her ryt hand thumb on her vermilion. She did a tika to Manik with that and wished him.

Manik smiled and kissed her cheek gently. He than looked at her and after a blissful eye lock they came upstairs. Where all their friends have arrived and they were busy wishing each other.
Nandini gave her puja thali to the butler to keep it and they wished their friends. Nandini purposely did tika to all the 8 of them as a gesture of she applying Holi colour to them along with aarav.
