Nandini was buying vegetables but before buying she asked out the price of every vegetable and was bargaining. Firstly the vendor was not agreeing but Nandini too knew that bargaining should be done. Both side arguments were stopped by Manik who said.
Ma-Nandini don't bargain........it's their only source of income.
Nan-Manik lekin.......
Manik cut her sentence in btwn.
Ma-Nandini 2-5 rupyo se hume koi farak nhi padega......but it will affect him......we have lots.
Understanding him as well Nandini didn't bargain further. She took everything that was required in her required quantity and then asked for the total bill. Though Manik didn't say to bargain but he had kept a count of the price of individual vegetable and also calculated in his mind so that the vendor doesn't cheat them as all know Malhotra's are rich and just now Manik said that they had lots.
You should be kind to other by giving them their deserved money or service but you should be intelligent enough so that the person doesn't take your kindness for granted.
Anyways their calculation met and Manik paid for that. Nandini handed him all the bags one by one to tease him and Manik innocently carried all the bags. They had to take a few more things from the general store so they went there too.
From there also Nandini handed all the bags to Manik and they were walking silently back to home.
After few min walk Nandini giggled gaining his attention. Seeing her giggling Manik asked.
Ma-kya haas kya rhi ho........
Nan-aww kitne cute ho tum.......meine tumhe saari bags de di aur tum utha bhi rhe ho....... don't you feel heavy.
Then she made a guilty face and said.
Nan-half bags muje de do.
And she came forward to take few bags but Manik moved away and said.
Ma-it's okay Nandini......it's not that heavy.
Still Nandini was trying to take bags from him.
Nan-do Manik......you can't pick up so much.
And she managed to get hold of bags from his one hand. Now that she was taking the bags from him Manik gave her all the light bags and picked heavy bags by himself which were just 2.
Getting the grip over bags Nandini resumed walking and Manik was behind her. After a moment every direction changed in front of Nandini and lastly she saw Manik's face.
He picked her up in bridal style and started walking with a bright smile on his face.
