After amms left from the hospital, all the tension that Manik's body had holded got released coz he feared of being send away from Nandini and before he could utter a word, they were disturbed by the pantry service who had come to drop Nandini's dinner as she was a patient tonight.
Manik took the plate from him and kept it on the table, he checked the food and then said to Nandini.
Ma-eat your food, it's prefectly hot.
Nan-abhi hi toh khaya tha.....hotel mei.
Manik gave her a fake smile and said in a sarcastic tone.
With that he moved the curtain little bit and Nandini saw the sky to be utter dark. She was surprisingly shocked and asked him.
Nan-mei bahut der tak soi thi kya?
He came to her side and said.
Ma-soi hoti toh koi problem bhi nhi thi.......but tum soi nhi thi......behosh thi.......aur meri jaan nikli jaa rhi thi.
With that he cupped her head and held her properly to make her sit. Nandini pressed her lips inwardly while getting up as her stomach was paining, she hissed unintentionally and Manik panicked. He asked cupping her face.
Ma-kahi dard ho rha hai?
Nan-peit mei thoda sa.
She sat and Manik adjusted the bed and stuffed pillows behind her back. Then he got the food tray and sat infront of her. He started feeding her and Nandini was eating it quietly in between she asked.
Nan-yeh kyu lagaya hai?
She said holding the oxygen pipe attached to her nose to which Manik said.

Nandini didn't say a word and continued eating. Well her food had a bowl of soup which was very blunt in taste, little soft khichadi and some salad. All this would give some coolness inside her stomach.
Being an South Indian she was not really affected by its taste coz South Indian foods are normal extremely mild in spices so it was okay for her.
She had everything as Manik had forced feeded her, in btwn she told him to call for his food as well coz it was dinner time but Manik kept denying abt eating.
