Her sentence was enough for Manik to realise that it's time to meet him. Without informing anyone manan drove to cavya's place. All the while thinking what must have happened.
Reaching at their place manan rang the bell and were sweating as all this was turning out to be strange. After 2 mins or so the door opened and there stood navya. Looking at each other her eyes got wet and so did Nandini's. Manan noticed her thin tiring figure and the baby bump that she had was no more.
Without exchanging words she moved a side to let them enter. As Manan entered in they saw the house to be neat and clean. Apart from that it had a scary silence all over. Entering in navya came to Nandini and both the best friends hugged each other.
Feeling their warmth silent tears made their way and both cried their heart out. They broke apart when they heard cabir calling and walking.

Cabir reached out and saw manan there while navni wiped each other's tears and looked at cabir. Nandini came beside Manik and both looked at cabir. He was walking with a wounded leg, big band aids on his head and elbow.
Navya rushed to cabir and helped him to walk. Looking at Manik cabir just wanted to flung on him but something stopped and he soberly gestured him to sit. They all settled on the couch and for few mins there was just silence pure awkward silence. After lots of time Nandini spoke.
Nan-cabir.......kaise ho tum?
He bobbed his head while again silence took place. After all that Nandini came beside navya and rubbed her shoulder to console her. As Navya felt that homely touch she broke down and rested her head on her chest while Nandini spoke.
Nan-let it all out navya.
This time Manik spoke.
Ma-yeh sab kaise hova........?
And again a brief silence prevailed and navya was still crying. After what felt like eternity navya stopped crying and sat straight. Then she spoke sniffing hard.
Na-uss din.......Jab hum wapas aaye ghar pe (the day mr malhotra got to knew everything). ghar aane k baad aarav.........usne khoon ki ulti ki.......aur fir uski tabiyat khrb hone lagi....... hum dr k pass gaye the toh pata chala usse cancer hai.......aur bachane ka ek hi tarika hai.......bone marrow transplant.......aur check up k baad umeed thi k jo aane wala baby hai hum usse woh transplant kr skte hai.......lekin aarav ki age k hisab se uska case bahut critical tha........isliye hume Canada jana pada.......waha k latest equipment and treatments se hum aarav ko survive krva pata........
(Now it's revealed cavya were in Canada from 3 months......and they returned back a week before manan's arrival)
Na-waha jane k baad humne uska treatment shuru kr diya.......ab humne new baby ka wait krna tha aur kuch nhi kr skte the.......fir woh din aaya....... hamara labor pain.......fir hume ek Beti hovi........
(Who all got scared with that thought of baby dying)
Na-kaise kaise humne woh sab kr k humne aarav ka operation kiya.......aur mata rani ki Kripa se operation successful raha.......uss bich cabir bank se paise lene gaya tha.......laut the waqt......uska accident hogaya.......(reason behind those band aids on cabir).......hum charo hospital mei......jaise taise manage kiya humne........finally sab thik hova aur sab discharge hove........fir baby ka passport and all kr k hum wapas aaye.
