Next morning mr malhotra came back from Paris as his work was done and malhotra mansion was also ready. They were sitting at breakfast table and having food. Mr malhotra was talking with manan abt his trip and they gave him a small smile and nothing else. It was then mr malhotra noticed their dull faces and asked abt the matter but before Manik could say Nandini denied abt it and left for college.
Mr malhotra dcd to stay back home to take some rest and Manik left for office. Nandini came back from college and kept herself busy in work. Since mr malhotra was back she avoided staying close to him. Lunch too was unusual quiet and mr malhotra thought that Nandini still haven't recovered from the incident 2 months back so he was cheering her up but Nandini politely denied abt all that and got busy with her work.
At evening Manik called up Nandini and she picked up the call
Ma-Nandini
Nan-hm.....
Ma-Nandini listen to me it was just a game and nothing and Mei ghirne bhi nhi wala tha..........I m sorry plz talk to me.......nand......
And Nandini ended the call and got back to work. At dinner time butler served Manik and mr malhotra and mr malhotra saw that Nandini having food quietly while Manik was just looking at her with sad eyes he also noticed that Nandini ate half of her meal and walked away and by now it was clear that something must have gone wrong btwn them.
Manik also ate little and left. He came in room and sat beside Nandini and said
Ma-Nandini........m sorry........plzzzzz talk to me.........plz.........I promise to never do it again........m sorry.......
Nandini very cleanly avoided him and laid down to sleep but sleep was far away from her. While Manik was weeping silently coz for silent treatment. Nandini was feeling bad for making him cry but she was determined to not go to him. Another day ended.
Next morning Nandini after having breakfast was leaving for college but mr malhotra stopped her and said he needs her help . After Manik left for office mr malhotra took her in his room made her sit and asked her.
Mr m-kya hova hai Nandini.......muje pata Hai Manik aur tere bich kuch problem hai.......lekin beta pati patni k bich toh jagde hote rehte hai........isse itna khichna nhi chahiye.
Nandini was listening to him carefully but she did not dcd to make peace with Manik. And seeing her lost mr malhotra asked
Mr m-kya hova hai muje bata
Nandini couldn't control herself and tears made its way

Sniffing hard Nandini narrated everything to mr malhotra and said
Nan-aur yeh sab usse thik lagta hai.......usse lagta hai k yeh koi badi baat nhi hai.........usne apne friends k kehne pe woh sab kiya lekin ek baar bhi mere baaremei nhi socha......ek baar muje soch k mana nhi kiya aur chad gaya upar........agar usse kuch ho jata toh........hum kya krte uske Bina.........lekin nhi........usse kisi ki fikr nhi.........kitni baar usse kaha hai k uske piche aap hai mei ho......kuch bhi krne se pehle soche lekin nhi.........uske liye uske friends hi uske liye sab kuch hai.
