It was the visiting hours at the hospital and Mr Malhotra with abhi had come to visit Nandini with some snacks, juice and coffee for Nandini. When they entered the room it was utterly silent and when they came in they saw Manik sleeping beside Nandini.
They chuckled and then Mr Malhotra woke up Manik along with him Nandini too woke up. It was a bit awkward, Manik moved away from there and Nandini tried to sit. As she was struggling Manik helped her immediately.
Mr m-how are you beta?
Nan-thik ho dad........aap kaise hai.....?
Mr m-mei bhi thik ho.
Then abhi came and both joined their hands as bffs. Mr Malhotra interrupted them.
Mr m-chalo mei gharma gharam nashta laya ho tere liye.......aur coffee bhi hai.
While they were talking Manik quickly cleaned his mouth, got fresh and joined them soon but Nandini said.
Nan-nhi dad........mei baadmei khogi......
Mr m-arey aise kaise.....mei itne pyaar se laya ho.
Nan-thodi der baad dad.......pakka.
Mr m-chal thik hai.......par thoda juice toh pee le.
And then he told abhi to pour a glass of juice for her. He quickly did that and they gave her the juice. Nandini was sipping it slowly and Mr Malhotra asked Manik.
Mr m-tu abhi toh ghar nhi jayega na?
Ma-until Nandini is not discharged I am not going home.
Mr m-muje malum tha.......Isliye mei tere liye nashta yahi lekar aagaya.......chal kha le.
Manik and abhi together served themselves and Mr Malhotra and then they were talking casually, making Nandini laugh and everything was good. They left after 2 hours when visiting time was over.
After they left Nandini told to Manik to call the nurse and stop the saline as she needs to get fresh. After the nurse did her work Manik helped Nandini to walk till the rest room and support her while she was cleaning her face.
Then he served her the snacks and juice and came to her. She was abt to take that from him but Manik stopped and said.
Ma-mei khiloga........
Nandini didn't argue and Manik feeded her. He was feeding her so slowly and so small morsels that Nandini had to say him.
Nan-Manik.......aise na tum Aahana ko khilana.......muje jaldi jaldi khilo......
Ma-but tum bhi toh muje aise hi khilati ho.
Nan-kyu ki tum slow khate ho.
Ma-Haan taki tum mere pass thodi der aur beth sako........
Nandini looked at him as she didn't knew this and Manik made a cute baby face. After that he feeded her and then soon the night arrived. It was a peaceful time for Nandini.
She had her dinner, her saline was going on and she felt healthy enough than the previous day and even dr uncle checked her, she could breathe normally that's why her oxygen pipe too was removed.
