"Why didn't you tell me first?"

Isabella rolled her eyes as she looked over to her pouting boyfriend, "because I wanted to tell Phantom first. He's the President, isn't he?"

She heard Lucky grumble, smiling as she knew she was right. Isabella walked over to the bed where he was lying, climbing in beside him, "besides, I want him to trust me. This is the first step."

"I suppose," Lucky huffed, and she smiled, snuggling up to his same chest as he wrapped an arm around her, "what did I do to deserve you?"

"Something stupid, probably," she grinned, and he rolled her eyes as he chuckled, "not true. You're so perfect."

His thumb stroked her cheek softly as he cupped her cheek and she sighed happily, leaning into his touch, "I love you so much."

"Love you more," he mumbled, and she smiled, "I love you most."

"I love you the mostest," Lucky pouted, and she shook her head, "Nope. That's grammatically incorrect, ergo I win."

"Whatever you think baby," Lucky kissed her forehead, pulling her closer.

The next day was the same, as was the next, as was the next. The Gonzalez family seemed to leave the club alone, and slowly, everyone became less tense and on edge. All except for two.

"They want us to think we're safe. They want us to let our guard down," Phantom growled, and Fury raised his hands, "I just think you're being a little paranoid."

"No, actually, I agree with Phantom," Isabella spoke up as she walked over to the table they were standing at, "I don't want to get comfortable now, knowing that they're still out there."

"Finally, someone who sees sense!" Phantom sighed, and Fury shook his head, "and here I'm thinking I'll be dead when the day comes that you two get along."

"What do you think we should do?" Isabella asked Phantom, who just shook his head, "keep things the way they are. Minimal trips in and out of the compound. Maximum security on the gates. Everyone needs to be on call."

"Sounds good to me," she nodded, as Panther walked into the room with a startled look on his face, "woah, did I just hear you say you agree with him?"

"Shut up!" Both Phantom and Isabella yelled at Panther, who just raised in hands in surrender and backed away, "you two are mean."

"Food's ready!" Katar yelled from the kitchen, and at that moment, all problems except their hunger were forgotten about.
