Two weeks on, and Isabella still hadn't told Lucky that she was pregnant. Everything was so good with them, she didn't want to ruin it. But whenever they were having a good time, her subconscious would remind her that it wasn't real, that he doesn't know, that she's lying to him.She was so stressed about keeping it a secret, she was sick. Sure, it was probably morning sickness as well, but the nerves didn't help. She managed to make sure Lucky didn't know, but it was hard. He was suspicious of the time she was spending in the bathroom, and that her diet was changing because she was eating less.
"Babe? Are you okay?" Lucky knocked on the door of the bathroom as Isabella turned the tap on quickly, before kneeling down at the toilet and being sick. She flushed the toilet, groaning softly, "I'm fine."
She washed her hands and brushed her teeth, before opened the door to see her boyfriend frowning down at her, "are you sure?"
"I'm sure," she smiled, leaning up and kissing his cheek. She ducked under his arm to leave the bathroom, going back out to the common area of the clubhouse, grabbing a glass of water from the kitchen before going to sit beside Panther on the sofa. Panther raised a brow, "you good, hermosa*?"
"I'm good, thanks," Isabella smiled curtly, sipping at her water. Phantom eyed her, and she glared at him. He was the only one who knew. And he knew she hadn't told anyone else yet.
"Bella, honey? Can you help me in the kitchen?" Katar popped his head out the door, a pleading smile on his face. Isabella smiled and nodded, standing up and sitting her water down before going into the kitchen, ignoring her boyfriend's concerned state.
"So. How far along are you?" Katar asked her as soon as she closed the door behind her. Her eyes widened, and she looked around the room quickly to make sure no one else was there before she turned to him and hissed, "how do you know?"
"Honey, I have two older sisters and they have five kids between them. I know a pregnant lady when I see one," Katar scoffed, folding his arms, "who knows?"
"Phantom." He raises his brow. "I had to confide in someone! He asked me what was wrong, and I spilled my guts."
Katar pouted, "you could've told me."
"I know. I'm sorry," she sighed, "all I do is screw up."
"Don't say that," he shook his head, "so. Is it a boy or a girl? Have you thought of names? What about Lucky? Will you tell him?"
Isabella felt her heart beat increase as she felt hot and sweaty all over. She couldn't seem to take in enough oxygen, her breaths becoming pants. She shook her head, "I-I can't–"
"Woah, Queenie, you're not looking too hot," Katar said cautiously, reaching a hand out to her. She moved past him, pushing the doors of the kitchen open, welcoming the blast of cold air that hit her face. She still couldn't breathe.
"Isabella—" Lucky stood as she walked behind the sofa he was sitting on, and Panther frowned, "Bella?"
Lucky was, well, lucky that he had stood up in time, because he had been able to run and catch Isabella as she passed out.
