Can we talk about David Bowie for a moment?
That man was a legend. He still is. Even after he has passed in he is touching the lives of thousands, if not millions, around the world. His music is something else completely, and it's unlike anything else I listen to. He invented himself and what he did. He had an excellent sense of humour, and although he seemed incredibly outlandish, he was very down to earth (which is an odd thing I say. This man was Ziggy Stardust after all).
Call me basic but my favourite song by him (and actually my favourite song ultimately) is Heroes. It's just so beautiful and mesmerising, so calming yet at the same time it takes you on a journey through time. If anybody does anything romantic for me ever, that song has to be playing in the background.
Slow dancing in the kitchen? We're doing it to David Bowie and if it's Heroes, prepare to be kissed a lot, and possibly getting laid. Take me to the hill to look at the city? David Bowie. The first dance at my wedding is gonna be to Heroes. The song just means so much to me.
My mum doesn't understand my love for the man, my dad does a bit, my friends have no idea. I seem to be the only one who truly loves him and his music.

I was devastated when it hit me that he died. He was truly a hero in his own right.
