Jackson's POV
It's been a week and mom is still in the hospital. She's awake but still really weak. Emma's doctor wants to talk to dad about Emma going back to school next week. Virgil is still awaiting trial but from the looks of it he'll be fine. Emma, Nic, Tyler, Kevin, and I are in the living room watching High School Musical 2. It's a great movie, don't judge. I look over at Emma and see her with her head in her hands.
"Everything ok, Em?" I ask.
"They won't shut up" she says.
"Who?"
"Snake and Angel. They're fighting again"
"About what?"
"Me. Angel still doesn't trust Snake"
"Oh. Is there anything I can do to help?"
"No. One of them will get give it up eventually"
"Ok"
"Seriously, could you guys shut up or at least take it into the room?.......Thank you, Angel" she says.
"They gone?"
"No. Angel just went next to Tyler"
"Ok"
"Hey, Em, are you gonna go outside today?" Kevin asks. Emma's been wanting to go outside for days but changes her mind before she opens the door.
"Maybe" she says.
"If you go, what are you gonna do?"
"Visit Tanner. We've texted a lot and he told me when I leave the house I should go to his place"
"Sounds fun"
"Yeah but Angel doesn't want me to get hurt so she doesn't let me leave the house"
"What if someone went with you?"
"Angel, can I go if someone comes with me?....Really?! Thank you thank you thank you!.....ok"
"I'll take that as a yes?"
"As long as she comes with and someone else comes with I can go"
"Wanna go right now? I'll come with you" Nic says.
"Sure" Em says jumping up. They get on their shoes and leave.
"You ok, babe?" Kevin asks.
"Yeah, I'm just glad she's finally out of the house. I was getting really worried about her" I say.
"Are you sure that's why you wanted her out?"
"Yeah, why else?"
"Maybe so we could do this?" he asks and kisses my neck.
"I am right here. Right here. I swear you all just forget I exist" Tyler says.
"Sorry, Ty" Kev says.
"Go upstairs are something. I don't care if you do it just don't do it in front of me. You wouldn't wanna see me and Nic do that"
"You and Nic have sex?" I ask.
"Yeah"
"I thought she was waiting until she graduates"
"She changed her mind, I guess"
"Oh. Well I gotta do homework" I say and get up. I have a lot of Math homework to catch up on. Ms. Bradbury has been on my ass about for days.
"I'll help" Kev says and we go upstairs.
