"I'll make them myself.", Oxford whispered as he began to fry the eggs, but the robot next to him continues to watch. When Oxford was about to eat, he had enough and ordered the robot to do something but the robot replied.

"What do you want me to do? I did everything you told me yesterday before you leave."

"Just... give me some space, that's all I need.", told Oxford to the robot who just took a seat on the sofa, not saying anything.

Oxford glanced at his wristwatch to check the time as he chewed the food, he noticed that some of the lights in his penthouse have turned off. Some of the lights are automatic, it means that they know when to turn on and turn off and when it is day or night. Oxford watched the sun rose in the horizon as he ate the last bit from the bowl.

"They are awake.", the robot announced as he glanced at him with both of its ears are pointing to the top.

"Of course, it's six in the morning.", he stated before he walked to his bedroom to sleep but stopped in the doorway when the robot talked.

"You didn't brush your teeth."

"I have not forgotten it yet.", said Oxford as he stepped inside his bedroom and to the bathroom where he usually brushes his teeth.

"I heard that you got a new test subject.", the robot appeared and spoke out of nowhere, which scared the life out of Oxford who was still brushing his teeth, staring at the mirror.

"Who told you that?", Oxford questioned after he spat in the sink.

"Of course, they.", the robot answered as it leaned on the wall with its arms crossed.

"Its true, we call him Ray.", said Oxford who sat down on the bed while staring at the robot.

"Is he a mutant?", the robot questioned when he closed the door of the bathroom.

"We still don't have the answer for that.", Oxford replied while he rested his head on the pillow, staring at the robot that is standing in the doorway with its right hand on the knob of the door.

"Get some rest, good morning, sir.", said the robot with a slight nod and closed the door shut after.

It took him thirty minutes for his eyes to shut, he was thinking about his life and his family in the future. That is the only thing that scares him when he was still a little kid and even until now. It is also one of the reasons why his family is just living next door. The company, where he works, doesn't know that he has a family except for Chap, because that is illegal according to the contract that he signed before he met his wife.

The company doesn't also know that there is a robot living with him in his penthouse, what's worse is that he stole that robot from the company's factory. If these things ended up in the company, they will immediately eliminate it no matter what is the situation and the cost. The company SPOT holds a lot of strange unexplainable things and secrets behind its metal doors and if the public gets to know about it, the company will collapse and chaos will soon take over.

The robot sat on the sofa, watching Oxford's family on the other side of the building. Soon he got bored with it and decided to do something else that can distract him for a very long time. He stood up with his hands on his waist and looked around the living room. He doesn't want to clean the penthouse now since he just cleaned it yesterday. He can't eat because he is a robot. He wants to go out and stroll around the city but he is not allowed and he is really not allowed because the world doesn't know that a robot that has human emotions already exists. Plus the robot has five logos of the company that are embedded in its body, so there is no way of taking it off, except hide it.

He was still in the middle of the living room when suddenly he heard the phone ringing in the from the kitchen. He stared at the phone on the wall even if it has stopped ringing. When he heard that device ringing, he has this feeling that wants him to answer it with or without Oxford's knowledge, but he always tells himself that the public shouldn't know about him.

He walked closer to one of the windows to distract himself to the view of the city. Every window in the penthouse is tinted heavily from both the outside and inside so that the robot can stand near it without exposing himself to the public, take note that Oxford's family doesn't know where Oxford works and about the robot in his penthouse.

He looked down at the window and saw the cars stuck in heavy traffic. He can hear some police car sirens in the distance, he thought there was an accident but soon he found out that is it just traffic. The robot is a curious one, he wants to learn more especially about human nature.

"I wonder what freedom feels like.", he questioned that to himself every time he peaks his head out of the window just to taste the life outside the penthouse.

He glanced at the digital wall clock and saw that an hour has only passed, he was expecting more than that. He moved away from the window and plopped back down on the sofa, sighing. He moved his head to the left just to check if Oxford's family is still there and they are still in his view. He tried to take a nap but couldn't due to the suns' light consuming the living room, even if it is heavily tinted. He decided to watch some news on the flat screen television, and soon he found himself switching channels.
