Ray woke up on a floor with an unimaginable headache. He was shaking when he tried to get on his knees but he kept falling back. He was also shivering, for him it felt like he is in a freezer. He looked around and immediately he identified that he is back in the golden hallway. His teeth were chattering as he started to crawl around the hallway, searching for a robot named Core. As time passes, he finally was able to stand up since he started to feel warm. He eventually found Core in the great hallway. The place was filled with floating staffs, swords, any kinds of weapons. Ray was wondering where did all the podiums go. Core was cleaning a staff with a cloth when Ray was approaching him.

"Still confused, huh?", questioned Core when he let go of the staff to face the man. Ray was watching the staff float away instead of dropping to the floor.

"Yes."

Ray stood next to the robot with both of his hands in his pockets.

"You should be, you still have a long way to go.", said Core when he started to walk and Ray quickly followed.

Core decided to take Ray for a little walk around the area, seeing if Ray will recognise something. As they were walking, Ray started to ask some questions for only a few minutes, but he didn't receive anything from the robot. So he decided to ask a different question, something that might get his attention.

"Who is your maker?"

Ray carefully watched Core who is now just a few inches ahead of him. Core didn't stop, the question didn't even get his attention, he was like focusing on something.

"Where are we?", Ray questioned for the last time, hoping that Core will start to talk again.

For some unknown reasons, Core came to a halt and looked at Ray who was also looking up at him.

"This is a prehistoric place.", answered the robot.

Ray asked for more information about the place and Core was glad and willing to tell him but before he started, they first returned to the great hall. Ray was admiring the staffs and the podium that was moving away from the middle, making the place more spacious and clean. Two chairs appeared in the middle and were followed by a table. Core sat on the right and Ray on the other side. They were quiet for a few minutes as they stared at each other, waiting one of them to talk.

Ray requested Core to tell more about this place, for some reason, he became hungry for its history. Core rested his back on the backrest as he was keeping his eyes on the man with a questioning look. The robot told the man that this place was the house of the gods and the place where everything started. Long ago, there were countless gods and goddesses who have unimaginable powers and who were working together, searching for their purpose and their origins.

Ray asked if Core was one of them and he shook his head no, which surprised Ray. Core told him that he was created by a god that had great knowledge.

"So where are the others then?", questioned Ray when he looked around for a second and then focused back on the robot who was just staring at him with a serious look on his robotic face, and then it changed. Core looked down at his own hands that were resting on his laps.

"They were executed.", answered the robot whilst not looking at Ray who was in shock.

"I witnessed them with my very own eyes!", Core continued this time, he moved his hands on his face.

Ray couldn't do anything but to watch the robot to calm down slowly in front of him. He asked why they were killed and who did it. Core only said that they were killed by his creator.

"The god who made you, killed all of them?", Ray asked just to make things clear and understandable to him.

Core nodded gently and finally looked at him, calmly.

Ray questioned again, why they were killed, but the robot didn't answer. He only gently shook his head as he was looking down on the table, to his reflection. Ray decided to change the topic in order for the robot to keep calm, he guessed. He asked Core what are his abilities and he answered that he can do anything, just like his maker. Ray voluntarily placed his left hand on Core's other hand that was resting on the edge of the table.

"Am I dead?", Ray changed the topic once again, this time he made sure that they won't be going back to those two past topics.

"That's up to you.", replied Core.

"I want you to help me.", Ray spat out all of sudden which made the robot to give him a questioning and concerned look.

Ray told Core everything about the company and the people with it. He guessed that all of them were slaves by the high societies. Core smiled at him for a moment and said that he already did. Ray jerked his head and squinted at him. Core raised his right hand, eye-level. Ray was focusing on the hand when Oxford snapped and all of sudden, everything went dark, literally, the man couldn't see a thing, but he can feel, hear, and smell something. To him, it feels like that he is laying on a floor of something gooey, squishy, and sticky, and there are some objects that he cannot identify just by touch. He decided to grab one and moved it closer to his nose to smell it, it smells bad, very like it is rotting. He also stopped moving after for a few seconds to let his ears do their job. He can hear flies buzzing around.

The stench was very bad that Ray was this close to vomit. He decided to breathe with the use of his mouth so that he can't smell, he also slightly covered it with his other hand as he was getting on his feet. He can feel that he is stepping on something that is very squishy. He still couldn't see a damn thing. With no other choice, he decided to call out and just after a couple of seconds, he heard someone whispering nearby. With his ears, he carefully located the source of the sound and when he did, he asked to repeat what that someone is trying to say, and it sent chills down to his spine right after.

"They see you, run."
