"It connects one's mind to another.", answered Core whilst moving next to him, this time his hands are placed behind his back.

"So... it controls people?", Ray turned his head to the robot who just nodded right after hearing the question.

"Oh...", commenced Ray when he looked away from Core.

"I know you have some questions you need answers for.", the robot talked after they went silent for a few seconds.

Ray was yawning when he heard Core said that. He glanced at him in shock, questioning himself: how'd he know? He took a couple of seconds in silent, deciding if he is going to ask the questions or not. Ray looked at the robot and told him about what he dreamt a few weeks ago. Core let out a yawn whilst listening to Ray which also made Ray question if is he boring him. The robot shook his head no and told him to continue. When Ray finished telling him about what he dreamt, Core gently bobbed his head at the exact time when the doors of the elevator slid open. Ray jerked his head in surprise when he found out that they arrived at the exact same gold huge corridor with all the gothic architectures and everything, just like in his dream. He watched Core stepped outside the elevator and when the robot stopped and turned to him, he moved a little closer.

"Follow me.", said the robot and Ray quickly started to walk and remained close behind him.

Ray was making quick glances at the robot who's walking normally, like their surrounding isn't bothering him, like he already knew that this is going to happen. He also looked back when he heard the doors of the elevator closed shut after a few seconds stepping out of it. When Ray and Core were about to enter a room, which has two large gold doors, Ray was guessing that it is the room where the ten different colors podiums are. He was right about the podiums and the colors, but he wasn't on the numbers. Ray's eyes were surprised to see numerous glass podiums that are placed in rows systematically and are facing to the front of the great hallway. In front is another podium, resting on the middle of a stage.

"I am not just an ordinary robot.", announced Core when he came to a stop in the middle of the aisle and Ray stood next to him.

"You have powers?", questioned the man in a different tone.

"Yes...", answered the droid when he turned around and started to walk again, this time towards the exit.

Ray continued to ask questions to the robot even when they have the giant room. Core told Ray in seriousness that he is a god. The man replied by jerking his head, squinting and chuckling but went quiet immediately when the robot stared straight at him. Core and Ray were still in a conversation when they arrived at a staircase. Ray followed the robot who has chosen to go down. When they ended up in another hallway with a different architecture, the man started to stammer as he was admiring the simple and elegant design of their surrounding. Core somehow started to tell his story about himself to Ray who he has just met.

Before Core started, they first entered a room which contains a glass desk in the front-middle, and on its right side are glass shelves and cabinets while on the opposite side is a steel rack, used for something that Ray couldn't tell by just looking at it.

The robot began by saying that he woke up in an empty and confined room. He was lying flat on the floor when a side or wall of the room started to move away from the rest. He stood up after realising that a man has joined him in the unidentified room. He asked the unknown man to identify himself but for some reason, the man didn't answer, Core told Ray that the man just stood there in the room, staring and watching his movements.

"How did you found out that you have powers?", questioned Ray when he and Core took a seat in front of a glass desk, which looked exactly like the desk in Ray's office.

"I discovered it by accident when I was about to touch the stranger.", answered Core when he rested his head on his right fist.

"What happened to the... man?"

"For an unknown reason, I cannot remember what happened to him. I never got his name, he didn't even talk, he just followed me around in this... kingdom.", replied the robot when he stood up, went to one of the cabinets and returned to Ray with a gold staff in his right hand.

Ray's eyes were confused when he got up from the chair and received the staff when Core handed it to him gently and carefully. Ray took a good look at the object when he was still holding onto it. Its surface was so reflective and clean, not a fingerprint or a smudge can be found. It weights like somewhere at two pounds. Its height, from the tip, matched the level of his shoulders.

"Hhhmmm.", uttered Ray when he returned the staff back to Core who was watching him as he was admiring the staff.

"That's the only thing that he left.", announced the robot when he placed the fold staff back to its rightful place.

"I see... so what are you... generally?", questioned Ray when they both sat back down.

"I am the God of Memories, hence my name... Core.", answered the droid who was expecting Ray to laugh, but was wrong.

Core even told Ray that he is not really one of the high societies, that was just a lie and Ray understood.

"So... if you are the god of memories, then how come you can't remember his name or even his face?", Ray let out a question which made Core blinked several times, brainstorming.

"I... I-I don't know...", Core replied.

"No offence but-"

"I am not the only one.", Core interrupted the man all of sudden.

"Is that the reason why there are a lot of podiums with different colours?", Ray asked and the robot nodded. "Ok... uhm...", Ray started to gently massage his forehead.

"You are needed by Cal.", the robot interrupted again.

"What?", Ray replied when suddenly his vision started to blur.

"You need to go...", said Core.

"Wait... Why did you tell me about yourself?", Ray continued to question even though he couldn't see clearly from this point.

"You'll know why someday.", answered the robot before Ray's vision went dark, black, couldn't see a thing.
