Amy's POV
I was still sitting in the grass under the calm moonlight. Jenn's car slowly began approaching me. She pulled over and honked at me. I smiled, hoisted myself off the ground and climbed into the passenger seat.
"Thank you so much, Jenn."
"Of course!"
She began driving.
"Oh and the rent isn't much," she explained. "It's actually going to be cheaper since we're splitting it three ways now."
I nodded. "Okay, great. I have a job, so there should be no problem paying."
She smiled. "Okay, great."
There was an awkward silence between us for a while. Her eyes were focused on the road and my hands wandered to the armrest. I tapped it lightly with my fingernails to pass the time.
"So why did you run away, if you don't mind me asking?"
I shrugged. "I mean, Ricky told me that he was fine with Connor and I together, but yet he constantly dropped little hints that he wasn't okay with it."
"Aww man, that's gotta be awkward!"
"Very."
We finally made it to her place...and my place too now.

Once we got inside, Jenn went straight to her room. She came back out smiling, holding two pillows and a blanket.
"I hope you don't mind sleeping on the couch tonight," she told me.
"No, it's fine," I replied, taking them from her.
She nodded. "We have an extra room, so we could probably get a bed for you pretty soon."
I smiled. "Thanks."
Suddenly there was a knock at the door. Jenn answered the door to reveal Connor. She turned, winked and smirked at me before disappearing into her room.
Connor walked into the apartment and shut the door behind him. He was holding a medium-sized suitcase in his right hand. He stared at me for a few seconds before dropping the bag, running over to me and engulfing me in one of his amazing hugs. I immediately hugged him back.
"You have no idea how worried I was," he whispered into my hair.
"I'm okay, Connor," I reassured him.
He released from the hug, but still had his hands on my waist.
He sighed. "I know, but all I could think about before was how I could possibly live with myself if I let anything happen to you."
Knowing how much Connor cared was comforting. Especially because of how screwed up I was.
I sat on the couch and gestured for Connor to sit next to me, which he did. I laid my head on Connor's shoulder and he put his arm around me.
"Oh, Connor," I spoke up. "Here's your phone back."
He nodded and gratefully took it back. "Thanks. Oh and I packed all of your stuff for you," he replied, pointing to the suitcase.
"Are you that desperate to get rid of me?" I joked.
He kissed my forehead and smiled down at me. "Yeah! I mean who on Earth would want to share a room with their gorgeous girlfriend?"
