When You Find Me by Joshua Radin

I woke up with my head on Ricky's chest. His bare chest to be more specific. Oh my god! I just met him last night and here I was asleep on his chest. I jumped up and climbed off of his bed as fast as I could. I stared in awe because Ricky was so adorable when he's asleep. Wait...what the hell am I thinking?! I barely knew him! I sighed. I couldn't help it. He was just so darn cute.

I stood staring at him for a few seconds before bolting out of the room. I was such an idiot. I grabbed my clothes from last night and changed back into them. I wrote Ricky a note stating that I left. Then, I neatly folded Ricky's clothes he let me borrow and let myself out of the house.

Great. Now where do I go? I really should've thought this through. I sighed and decided to walk back home. And by home I mean my park bench. I sighed. This was going to be a long walk.

*~Ricky's POV~*

I opened my eyes to the sun's glare shining directly into my eyes. It burns! I sat up, yawning, stretching and rubbing my eyes.

It took me a moment before realization struck me. Where's Amy?! I hopped out of bed and looked around. I saw the clothes I lent her and a piece of paper sitting on top. It was a note from her!

"Ricky,

Thank you so much for being so kind. You were concerned and worried enough to save my life and give me a place to sleep. I didn't want to wake you, so I just left. You're the most thoughtful person I've ever met. And for that, I'll be forever grateful

Yours truly,

Amy."

My eyes widened. She went back to that terrible place?! Where was she going to go? Even worse, what if those guys found her? What the hell was she thinking?

I'm not sure why, but I feel as if it's my responsibility to protect her. I refuse to let anything or anyone harm her. I can't rest until I find her. I ran outside to my car and drove away immediately after getting in. I was going to find her.

*~Amy's POV~*

After about an hour of walking, the scenery began to look familiar to me. I groaned realizing that last night was the only fairy tale moment that I'll ever have in life.

I sat on a bench and pulled my knees to my chest. I couldn't hold in my emotions any longer and began to whimper. That whimper soon turned into crying. And that crying soon broke out into loud sobs.

I heard footsteps behind me and began to panic. What if it was Mitchell and Tristan?!

Without even looking behind me, I got up and began sprinting. I heard the footsteps trailing closely behind me. I had to get away.

Eventually I got too weak to run any longer and plopped on the ground trying to catch my breath.

"Damn it, Amy! What the hell?!"

I was surprised that it wasn't Mitchell's voice. I looked up relieved to see Ricky standing above me trying to catch his breath.

"I'm sorry, Ricky. I thought it was Mitchell and Tristan trying to get me. I'm so sorry!"

"Amy, it's okay! I came looking for you."

I stared at him with hopeful eyes. "You did?" I asked, shock evident in my voice.

"Of course!" he replied as if it was obvious. "I can't have you out here on your own like that! You're coming home with me."

"Ricky, I can't. I don't want to take advantage of you!"

"Amy, I want you to come with me. I need you to. Please?"

I couldn't say no to his perfect face. "Okay."

"And I want you to stay as long as you need," he said sternly.

"Okay."

"And I want you to be careful and stay out of trouble."

"Yes, mom," I joked.

He chuckled. "Ha ha very funny."

"Okay well let's go to your house."

"It's your home too now."

I couldn't help but smile. "Well let's go home."

"Much better. And I'm buying you some clothes later."

"No you don't have to do that!"

"Girl, you are trippin'. You can't keep wearing my clothes. And besides, I want to."

That just made my heart melt. "Okay. Ricky you're so sweet."

"I try."

We just got home. It felt strange calling it home considering I really don't know Ricky or his roomies.

"Amy, I'm going to have to properly introduce you to the crazies, since you're going to be living here," Ricky said as he was unlocking the door.

"Hey guys come down would you? I have something important to tell you," Ricky shouted.

I suddenly heard shuffling and thumping on the stairs. I turned and saw three good-looking guys standing on the stairs with confused looks on their faces.

"Ricky, what's going on?" Kian asked. "This better be good. I was skyping Andrea."

"Guys, this is my friend, Amy," Ricky said.

"Oh I met her last night! I was wondering who she was," Connor exclaimed.

"Yeah she's going through a really hard time and I kinda sorta convinced her to stay with us for a while?" It came out as more of a question. "It's okay with you guys, right?"

Connor and Kian let out mumbles of agreement.

"Wait, you're not a serial killer, right?" Jc asked me.

I chuckled. "Of course not!"

"Well then, welcome to the o2l house!"

O2l? That sounds familiar. The annoying preppy bitches at school used to talk about how hot they were...Well I can't really disagree with them.

"O2l huh?" I asked with a smirk.

"In the flesh!" Connor shouted.

"I like you," I told Connor.

"Really? I feel so special," Connor replied in a girly voice.

"Hey what about me? I'm the one who saved you and brought you in," Ricky pouted.

"I like you too Ricky," I said and poked his nose.
