Chapter 7:

Pollux's POV:

He's smiling.

Like the real smile.

Matagal na niyang hindi nagagawa iyon, kung ngingiti siya, it's just for business.

His partnership might probably for business too with Patria, but he could still say it was business... with pleasure.

Hindi niya alam kung bakit nagiging bara bara siya sa pagdedesisyon, ang alam niya ayaw niyang maging isang simpleng estranghero lang kay Patria.

Gusto niyang makilala siya nito, hindi bilang business partner, kungdi isang lalaki.

He likes her too much.

And he never felt this to any woman before, the like he's feeling is quite..intense? Yeah he likes woman, he adores his mother so much, but what he is feeling about Patria..is not just a simple like.

"Okay fúck it I'm attracted to her" he admitted it to himself.

He thought he like perfect women, though Patria has this condition but scratch that, he likes her even she's like that, for him, she's perfect.

Napakaganda din nito.

Kahit na ang sungit, parang he's yes, he was being challenged but he can't help himself that he's feeling happy and light when he's beside her..it's a bit impossible but even for a short period of time, he felt at ease.

He felt alive.

Before, yeah he's contented, but he cannot hide the feeling that everything is gray.

Like his life he's currently running is only about on his terms, on his own way to run it.

But for Patria, it's different.

He can't believe it to himself that there's a woman who deliberately turn him down, she may not be aware of it.

Pero tinanggihan siya nito, pinapalayas pa nga siya nito.

Natawa siya ng bahagya when he remembered her expression when he started teasing her about them sharing one bed.

That was a first to his part, he doesn't have any naughty kid bone on him, he doesn't have any sense of humor, even teasing someone.

That was his younger brother's forte, not him.

"So who's that her?" Narinig niyang sabi ng isang boses, kilala niya iyon.

"Dad" he shortly said.

His dad was still the same, he still managed to look good despite of his age, marami ang nagsasabing kamukha niya ito, but his dad says he's more handsome than his children.

He's still muscular, though he had fine lines and few white hairs he still managed to look young and the vigor stays.

Naalala niya nung bata siya nalaman na nila ang kalagayan ni Daddy nila, but it's okay with them, at least hindi siya mag aalala kung paano nito maalagaan nito ang sarili sa pagtanda nito, he even asked him before when he was still a kid, what is the things he's fearing.

He was expecting that he would say, aging.

But no..

"Son, my beauty will fade I know, I'm not afraid of that, what I'm afraid of is that..your mother, I'm afraid of losing her..I love your mom so much"...

Naalala niya iyon.

"Seems like you've been bitten" sabi nito at saka ito tumawa, hindi naman siya umimik.
