"No way.. no way... no way!" I cried covering my mouth. I gripped on my hair and stared at the floor for a moment. I grabbed my phone and texted the one person I knew that would stay calm.
Me: I need you to come over ASAP. It's an emergency. No one knows.
Edwin: On my way

My bedroom door opened and I heard Edwin call out, "Jewel?"
I stood quiet sitting on the floor of my bathroom with the chunk of hair in my hand. Edwin came into view and he walked in the bathroom. His face was full of worry and he was out of breath. He kneeled down next to me and sighed.
"What happened?" He asked.
I handed him the chunk of hair and he grabbed it staring at it questioningly. I moved my hair to the side to show him the bald spot and I tied my hair up.
He fell on his ass and sat facing me. He closed his eyes and thought for a moment.
"It came out while I was doing my hair. No knot. No force. Just.. came out," I spat and cleared my throat.
"Jewel you already know what I'm thinking. We need to go to the hospital now," he replied looking at me in the eye.
"I'm scared Edwin. I'm sorry I called you. I didn't wanna bother but you're the only person that won't freak out as much as I am-"
"Jewel. You're not a bother. We're not together but I've told you before I'm here for you. Always. And I'm sorry on how things went down-"
"Ed.. I know you didn't cheat. I knew what you were doing and it's fine. And again thank you for coming over," I sighed with tears pouring down my face.
He got to his feet and let out his hand. I took his hand in mine and got to my feet as well.
"Let's go love."

We were waiting for results. No one else was in the emergency room so the sense of privacy was nice just in case bad news returned. She got to her feet and went towards the glass wall. I got up and stood next to her.
I took out my phone and went on Snapchat.
