Rose

"Um.. I'm Rosemarie Smith. I dated Andrew and you know I fell in love with him. Genuinely. He was a good provider and he was hardworking," I started and I looked over at Brandon.

He had a serious expression. He looked disappointed. He shook his head at me and Celine plastered across my mind. I need to do the right thing.

"Things started going downhill. He wasn't supportive of me. I had so many dreams and ambitions and he basically told me they couldn't happen. He was very controlling and I should've seen signs by then but I didn't. I met Brandon. He.. he helped me. He helped me break my little bubble to follow my dreams. I was doing fine until I found out Andrew was cheating on me. I attempted to leave him but he grabbed me and slammed me on his car hard. Nick defended me."

I looked at Andrew and he glared at me. It was a deep stare. Full of anger and evilness. And only one thing crossed my mind.

Fuck you.

"My friends and I started getting threats from an Unknown number. Things started happening to each of us as you heard from Brandon and Nick. On my end.. I.. I went to a party and got raped in the bathroom. He took me to a basement and had me in ripped clothes full of blood. Him and some of his goons beat me either with their bodies or anything lying around. They used to strip me down and taunt me. Hit me. Harass me. They said a lot of terrible things- uh," I spat as tears poured down my face.

"There's something else," I sighed wiping my face.

I looked at Nick and he crunched his eyebrows at me. God this is going to break him. I looked at Andrew and he was furious. I took a deep breath and looked at Jewel who remained a calm posture. She signaled for me to take a deep breath and I did.

I continued to look at her and I acted as if I was speaking to her," The day Nick pushed me out the way and he got hit by a car. I got a full body exam. The doctor said I had bruising and such but there was something that I asked to be kept to myself. When the full body exam came in, it said I was a few weeks pregnant."

She covered her mouth and I looked at Nick. He was in deep thought. His eyes widened in realization and he stared at me in disbelief.

"The baby was hit hard when I was pushed and it was dying. Causing my body to react badly. So they aborted it. And I wanted to tell you Nick but you were not responsive yet. And I was gonna tell you when you were but you just found out your dream was crushed and I didn't want to dig your hole deeper. When I came back I wanted to but you were doing so well and you were happy with Faiza. I didn't want to ruin it," I cried and he covered his face.

"So Andrew threatened Nick's and I life. I left under the radar with Brandon while Nick stood to go to therapy. I came back and I was forced to leave with Andrew again. He did the same things as before but he drugged me and he even had random rich guys come and have their way with me. During this time he revealed to me that he knew about the abortion and if I told the truth he was going to kill Nick. I'm not holding back anymore. He's obviously a fucking psychopath and he needs to be locked up for the rest of his life. Excuse me," I spat and I got to my feet.

I ran out the courtroom and ran my hands through my hair. I broke down instantly.

"Rose."

"Come here."

I turned to them and they wrapped their arms around me. I felt my chest literally breaking into pieces. I couldn't breathe. I was holding in so much and to leave it all out in the open was the hardest thing I've done.
