Rose

My phone was blowing up with notifications and I groaned. I picked up my phone and saw Twitter notifications going wild. I clicked on one and saw a video.

@mrs.mara282: Um.. so I was watching concert videos and peep how Nick is looking at Rose here 👀👀👀 B get your bro

I clicked on the video and the boys were singing Healthy.

"I'm sorry bae that's just the way it works. You get that feeling in me jumping when you flirt. So when you come around me wearing that. Yeah, I might be smiling but it hurts," Nick sang in the video. He looked down at me with a serious expression and I was looking at Brandon.

What the fuck.

I grabbed Brandon's phone and put it in my pocket. I texted Nick and waited for a response.

Nickyballz💝: come to the room

I locked my phone and went to his room. I opened the door and Austin awkwardly walked out. His unproblematic angelic ass.

I closed the door behind me and stood by the door. Nick had a serious expression and I was nervous.

"Is it what it looks like?" I asked.

He stood staring down at the floor and nodded.  You're not serious.

"W-What? Since when? How? Why?-"

"Woah.. why shouldn't be a question. Honestly I was attracted since the beginning. You walked in and screamed my name because you recognized me from the ICONic Boyz. When you and piece of shit broke up at the club I wanted to make a move but I couldn't do that to Brandon. Plus I was a hoe at the time. When we had to fake date it was awkward for me to be honest, yes I care about you. You're the only girl that got to me know me as a person without extra shit attached to it. So don't worry about it. I won't step over the line. I don't want to ruin our friendship,"he said getting to his feet.

I just stared at him. I didn't believe it to be honest. Like how do I even reply to that?

"Say something."

"I don't know what to say Nick. You're my best friend and now I feel bad-"

"For what? Dude its not that serious-"

"I cried to you about Brandon! We slept in the same bed and you-"

"Rose stop it's fine-"

"Look at how you were looking at me in the video Nick-"

"Rose! It's fine. I'm over it. I love you and all but not like that ok?" He sighed rolling his eyes.

"Promise?" I asked taking a deep breath.

He nodded his head and came to me. He wrapped his arms around me and I returned the hug. I love this kid I don't want things to be weird. The door opened and Austin came in. He jumped in his bed as I released Nick.

"I'll tell Brandon it had to do with Unknown ok?" I reassured and Nick nodded again.

"Alright. Imma take a nap," Nick yawned.
