"Don't lie, I know you've been faking it." - Gryffin ft. Elley Duhé

The day finally arrived where I had to be sent back to school. At least it was a school I've never been to and just maybe, maybe I would make some friends. Or even just a friend would be great.

I mounted into Paula's car and we headed off to the school.

"You excited?" She asked eagerly.

"I've never been excited to go to school," I scowled.

"Why not? It looks fun."

I avoided her and focused on the school which was now before us.

As soon as Paula parked by the side of the lot, I climbed out before she could give me the 'good luck' and 'love you' talk. What a very embarrasing way to begin your first day at a new school.

I headed to the main entrance and opened one side of the double doors.

The halls were condensed with students from age of fourteen to eighteen. I shyly made my way down the hall and looked for the principals's office.

A few students eyed me suspiciously but most of them kept yapping away with their friends.

I quickly rushed through the crowded halls and looked at every door to see which one was the office.

When I found it, I agaped the door to the room.

He looked up and smiled extensively. "You must be Sasha Castillo, correct?"

He looked like he was in his late thirties or early forties.

"Uh, yes. That's me." I grinned sheepishly.

"Welcome to Western High. I have assigned a tourist for you so she should be here any minute. She's usually a minute late or two so just have a seat." He gestured me to the seat in front of his desk.

I was about to sit down when someone bursted through the door.

"Oh, and there she is!" The principal grinned widely at the girl who just strode in.

"Hey!" She greeted me excitedly. "I'm Gabrielle Flynn! Nice to meet you."

"Um, you too!" I beamed, almost laughing at how perky she was.

"Oh, my gosh. You're really pretty! I wish I looked as good as you!" She awed at me.

"Uh, thanks," I muttered.

"Come on!" She pulled me out of the office with her and led me back down the halls.

Everyone was starting to head for their classes but when they saw me and Gabrielle walking down the halls together, they all stared at us.

"Mind the kids, they always stare when I come into the halls like I'm some sort of model." She flipped her brown hair over her shoulder and started telling me where all the classrooms were, the girls restrooms, the gymnasium, the library, the cafeteria and my locker at last.

"Some of the kids here can be pretty nasty but just ignore them and they'll leave you alone," she explained.

She was really sweet and unmistakably gorgeous. She saved a spot for me at lunch along with her other friends.

"Guys, this is Sasha!" She showed me off to her friends.

"Hey, nice to meet you, Sasha! I'm Alexandra." A girl with blonde curly hair, pale skin, a nose pierce, an earing on her right her and two earings on her left introduced herself to me.

She was wearing dark red lipstick and she wore everything black. Black tank top, black skinny jeans and black combat boots.

"Hi, Alexandra," I smiled. I was already making friends, but I loved it.

I had never been able to experience the feeling of making friends, and now I had a really great chance. It seemed like my life was getting easier day by day.

"I'm Hazel," a small blonde girl introduced herself.

I grinned and made contact with the girl beside her.

"Aria," she introduced.

Aria had the left side of her head shaved and her chestnut brown hair was pulled all to one side.

The last girl, who was sitting on the other side of Gabrielle, had her head down with her arms crossed on the table. I heard sniffles coming from her, but from where I was sitting, she was really beautiful. Her black hair was pulled back into a very high ponytail and she had dark skin, dressed in a cheerleading outfit.

"Let me guess, you and Jackson broke up again," Aria said.

The girl lifted up her head and nodded. "For the seventh time!"

"What was his excuse this time?" Gabrielle asked.

"He said he wanted to break up with me before he heads off to college," she complained.

"Well, no one wants a long distance relationship anyway," Gabrielle admitted.

"If I were you, I wouldn't have gotten back together with him after the second time he dumped me," Hazel told her.

The sniffling girl ignored her.

"That's Jordyn," Gabrielle told me. "She's only like this when Jackson breaks her heart, but she's actually really fun to be with."

I nodded. "Hey, Jordyn."

She looked up at me but didn't say anything.

"So, where are you from?" Hazel asked, looking quite serious and interested.

All the girls payed attention to me as I spoke.

"Bar Harbor," I replied.

"Bar Harbor?" She asked.

"In Maine, near the Frenchman Bay," I explained.

"Okay, why did you move here?" Aria asked.

I sighed. "It's a long story."

"Do you have a boyfriend?" Jordyn asked, suddenly interested in our converstaion.

"Yes, I do." I smiled hesitantly at her.

All the girls squealed eagerly. "Is he hot? How old is he? Where does he live? What's his name?"

I laughed after they all started to talk at once. "Yes, of course he's hot. He's seventeen, going on eighteen soon. He lives here in Davie, Florida but he does homeschool and his name is Jesse."

"Oh my gosh, my boyfriend's name is Jesse too!" Gabrielle squealed excitedly. "And he does homeschool as well."

"What?" I blurted out, officially very confused now.

"What's his last name?" Gabrielle asked, a little bemused now as well.

"Winters."

If her boyfriend had the same last name as mine, then it was very obvious that they were the same person.

"What?!" Gabrielle slammed her hands on the table. "Does he have dark brown hair, thick eyebrows, brown eyes, muscular?"

"Yeah," I affirmed, slowly dragging the word out.

"No. Way," Gabrielle whispered in horror.

I had to admit, I was just as shocked.

"Does this mean he's been cheating on... us?" Gabrielle whispered furiously.

My eyes widened with anger and shock.

I didn't want to admit it, but...

"Yes."
