I cuddled her into my chest as she fell asleep in my arms.

I had felt a huge weight lift off my shoulders tonight. I had finally confessed my biggest fears to the girl I love most.

We both collapsed on the bed after and she fell asleep almost immediately. I stared at her while she drifted off into deep sleep. My God, what did I do to deserve her?

I pulled her in a little closer and fell asleep next to the love of my life.

The feeling of something ice cold sloshing on my skin woke me up.

I expected to wake up with my girlfriend in my arms. Well, unfortunately not.

I sat up, shocked by the arctic feeling of the liquid sliding down my skin.

I expected to see my girlfriend beside me and laughing, but it wasn't her.

In fact, she wasn't even in the room.

It was Jesse who was nearly laughing his ass off by the side of the bed on the floor.

"Good morning to you, too," I grumbled and climbed out of bed.

"Your breakfast's probably cold by now," Jesse said after he finished laughing.

"Great." I faked a smile. "Totally goes with the drink I'll also be having."

I pointed to the water that was now dripping down to my legs.

"Just a piece of advice, next time you actually want me to drink something, open my mouth wide and pour the water into my mouth. That would actually be a big help."

"Nah." He shook his head and scrunched up his face. "I'd rather keep doing it the way I just did."

"You literally just made her bed wet," I argued.

"So what? It'll dry up."

"And if it doesn't?"

"It will, trust me."

I snickered. "Ha, I never did. Probably never will."

"I haven't hurt your sister so you should."

"Let me rephrase that for you." I gestured him to quiet down. "You haven't hurt my sister yet, so I shouldn't. And you have hurt my girlfriend, so that's bad enough."

"Okay, so what do I have to do to make you trust me?"

"Nothing. I'll eventually grow fond of you. Now get the hell out of here."

"So we're good."

"Yeah." I held out my hand in a fist.
