"You were the life of me to find my truth." - Macklemore

For the next two days, we bonded.

Gabrielle, Jordyn, Aria, Alexandra and Hazel came over and it was possibly the happiest I've been ever since my mother passed away.

I was proud that I could finally find true happiness. I never had any friends until now, and it feels amazing to know that I have people who care about me.

I was surprised to see Jordyn and Chris getting a lot of time alone. Jordyn looked really pleased to be with him, and Chris had the look of love in his eyes.

No, literally.

I've never seen Chris so happy.

Jesse and Vi were taking their time together. I knew Jesse didn't want to hit that fast road and hurt her like he hurt me, but sometimes it looked like he couldn't help himself.

Mr. Kendrick cooked every single meal while Mrs. Kendrick took care of the laundry and cleaning the house. It felt like they were parents to me.

Everyone else seemed to be enjoying their time with one another.

Even Claire liked to play Trouble with my friends Gabrielle, Hazel, Alexandra and Aria.

Since Jesse, Alexandra and Aria were the most inattentive, they tended to leave empty bags of chips on the table, empty foam cups on the floor along with candy wrappers and plates on the coaches.

But Mrs. Kendrick willingly cleaned everything up. I tried helping out as much as possible but Luke is someone you can't just stay away from. He pulled me back everytime I went to help and tickled me until I promised I would stay.

Just an hour before the Kendricks had to leave and head back to Los Angeles, Jesse and Vi talked to her parents for a while.

I wasn't sure what they were talking about, but I had an idea that it had something to do with their relationship. I had a feeling that either Jesse would go back to LA with Violetta or she would stay here because no one wants a long distance relationship.

I kind of hoped they would stay here because I knew I would miss Jesse a lot. Even after how much he hurt me, we decided being friends was the best thing for us.

While they were talking, they asked me and Luke to join them.

"So, we've decided to let Violetta stay here. As long as it's alright with you," Mrs. Kendrick quickly added.

"Yeah, that's actually perfect. I need a girl friend to live with me anyway. I'm not sure if I can handle all these boys by myself."

Mrs. Kendrick beamed. "I know how you feel. I wouldn't either."

We said goodbye to Mr. and Mrs. Kendrick and Claire as they drove off and out of the city.

It was getting dark outside and lights in our neighbors houses were starting to turn off.

"Hey." Luke tugged my arm.

"Hmm?"

"I wanna show you something."

"What?"

"Just grab your stuff and meet me there." He pointed to his motorcycle.

"Uh, why?"

"Just go." He pulled me out of the foyer and up the stairs to my room.

Or more specifically, our room. There were seven bedrooms in total in this entire house but out of all of them, he chose to share a room with me.
