"There's a billion reasons why I should give you up." - Selena Gomez

Luke

I watched her run away. We watched her run away. Out of the parking lot and off campus. We watched her fade out into the street and not once did she decrease her speed or halt.

I wanted to run after her. But she clearly stated that she wanted to be alone.

What have I done? I thought to myself.

I pretty much just abused the girl I loved most, all because I couldn't have her.

"Oh, no," Gabrielle groaned.

Jesse just stood exactly where Sasha had left him, looking hurt. Gabrielle left a few minutes later to head for class which we were all late for. Jesse and I just stayed precisely where we were, in plenary muteness.

After the first class was over, Jesse headed back inside and decided to attend the next class.

That's when I got an idea. If I couldn't be with Sasha, maybe I could just follow her. I had to make sure she was safe. I had to make her fall back in love with me. I was going to do everything it took.

Once I reached her house, I sauntered over to the side of the house where her bedroom window was.

I climbed up the tree and peeked through the window.

She wasn't there.

I observed closer but I still saw no sign of her.

I crawled back down and peeked through every window of her house.

Not once did I see her. I walked inside through the back door, even after an hour looking everywhere, she was nowhere in sight.

Where could she possibly be?

I jumped back onto my bike and drove around the city all day.

I checked each store, the beach, and creeped around her house once again before Jesse and Chris came back from school.

If Sasha had run away, then I was lost.

I had no way of knowing which way she went, but love is what you fight for. So, I was going to do just that. I was going to fight for her.

I drove back to my apartment, packed up a lot of things because who knows how long I could be gone.

I locked my apartment and left Davie to find the one girl I love.

Sasha

I woke up from a terrible nightmare of Luke. Of course, no matter how hard I tried, I always ended up dreaming about him.

I looked around to see the sun peeping through the trees.

I poised my body up, slung my bag and purse over my shoulder and started walking again.

I needed a good place to eat breakfast, but since I was starving, I hauled out the bag of potato chips and started eating like a dog.

But as I ate and strolled along the dirt road, I saw buildings ahead of me. And as I got closer, I realized I was heading into a city.

I quickly put the chips back into the bag and started running again.

I headed for the first restaurant I saw.

I had no idea how much money I had left or how much I was going to have to pay, but I bought as much I thought would fill my stomach. But when I finished my breakfast wrap and egg sandwich, my stomach asked for more. But I realized I couldn't pay the next time I bought a meal. Even my bank account was completely empty.
