"It's a beautiful life." - Now United

Luke wrapped the blindfold around me once again before we left the beach.

"I might just become blind with the amount of darkness I'm surrounded by," I joked.

"You'll be fine," he assured.

"Where to next?"

"You really think I'm going to give it away that easily?" He started the engine and we were back on the road.

"No," I muttered to myself.

I had no clue where we were headed, considering the fact that my eyes were being blinded from knowing the idea where we might be going.

Soon enough, Luke parked his bike in the middle of who knows where and helped me climb off.

He set my feet back in my heels, still completely blinded.

"You ready?"

"No."

"Don't worry, I'm sure you'll love it." He took my hand and led me to some place I had no clue of.

He dragged me up a few steps and I heard him opening a door.

The sound of my high heels clicked on a marble floor. I heard other rustling feet in the room. I could somehow feel it in the room that is was huge.

Everyone seemed to quiet down.

Then, there was silence.

Complete silence.

Other than the many breaths I could hear in front of me.

"In three..." Luke whispered in my ear, beginning to count down.

"Two..."

Holy shit. I swear if this is something he knows I wouldn't want him to do, he's going to hell.

I was as nervous as ever.

I sensed anxious tension in the air.

I took a huge nervous breath.

"One."

He revealed my eyes by removing the blindfold.

My eyes opened up to a huge crowd in front of me and─

"SURPRISE!" They all cheered at the same time, while someone was proceeding to turn the stadium lights on.

I gasped when I saw who was all there. I immediately recognized every single person in this large room. They were the kids from school.

Jesse, Gabrielle, Vi, Chris, Jordyn, Alex, Hazel and Aria stood in a straight line a couple of feet from me. Everyone had there arms up and their mouths wide with a grin.

I stood there in shock for a few seconds before turning to face Luke.

"What is this?"

"I talked to the principal and he allowed us to throw you a party as long as no alcoholic drinks or cigarettes were involved."

Then, the music began to play.

Luke grinned when he noticed that I couldn't have been more grateful for this.

"Get out there." He gestured toward the crowd. "Have the time of your life."

I jumped into his arms and pulled him in. "This is possibly the best birthday ever. I love you so much."

It was the truth.

I couldn't asked for someone better.

Luke knew what I wanted. He knows me a whole lot more than I thought. Just a simple birthday with my best friends and the entire Western High.
