-Please, I can't live without you-Nathan said as he nearly started crying-I realized that when they told me you had been in an accident. I was so scared to lose you Meredith. All those things we say but we don't actually mean, all that pride of not talking to each other for so long. What for? ...

The next morning I was feeling bad, I had temperature and my leg was really swollen. But they gave me some meds and everything went back to normalcy.
-Hi Mer, how are you?
-Hi babe, pretty bad. I was supposed to be discharged today but the leg got swollen all again.
-Oh no. Are you feeling any better?
-Actually, no. I've been feeling really sick lately. Like I might throw up at any time.

-Ok, I'm sure it's because of irregular eating, you know, hospital food. Don't worry.
Just in that moment a nurse came in and said:
-Dr. Grey, we need to run a full blood work for a checkup
-Ok, make it quick I hate needles.
-Done, I'll come back later with your results.
A few hours passed and the nurse comes in
-Dr. Grey, big news

-Well, according to your results, you are pregnant

-Congratulations, you are having a baby

-Mooooove!!!- I heard Nathan screaming in the corridor-Mer, what the hell? I thought you were bleeding out or something!
-I'm sorry if I scared you, I really am. But what I 'm about to say might be even scarier.

I saw such a huge smile on his face I couldn't help but jumping out of bed and hugging him. We were a family now. This was so good and so messed up in so many levels.
