-Unconscious, big head lack, possible brain bleed, we gotta get her up for a head ct asap.
-Evident hemoneumothorax, arrhythmia, bp's dropping, let's move, let's go!

At CT
-Amelia!-Maggie said- I've been trying to contact you and Mer all morning, what is going on? You are not answering my calls, are you hiding? Is there something you need to get off your chest?
-Maggie-
-No, because if you need me I am right here, I will go down swinging for you-
-Maggie-
-No, seriously Amelia, you can count on me and you should know it-
-Maggie!! Are you serious? Can't you see? The person in the tomograph is Meredith. Has nobody told you yet?
-What?
-She was driving here when a truck hit her
-Wait, what about Zola, Bailey and Ellis? Were they there?
-No, they weren't feeling well, apparently a virus, they stayed home today with a nanny.
-Oh my god, is she gonna be okay? Maggie said practically sobbing.
-I don't know, she might have a brain bleed so, we don't know yet. Do you need a hug?
-Yes please
They hugged between tears, and for a moment, they could feel the world falling on them.

One hour later...

-Nathan- Amelia said. He was in the waiting room.
-Is she okay? Does she need brain surgery? Oh lord why her?
-Nathan, what do you mean "why her"?
-She's just such a good person, I don't want anything bad happen to her.
-And why all that crying? I should be crying i'm her sister. Nathan, are you sure you're okay?
-I'll calm down as soon as she's stable.
-They are operating on her thorax, but the brain is fine, there is no evidence of hemorrhage, or paralysis or anything.
-Who's operating on her? They wouldn't let me in the OR, they said I was too nervous to proceed.
- A great cardiothoracic surgeon, one of the best ones, Maggie isn't operating on her because of all the family protocol. Anyways, why were/are you so nervous? She is just a colleague, right?
-Shepherd come on.
-Come on what?
-Isn't it really that noticeable?
-Yes, it is. I just want you to admit it.
-I like her, i really do. And last night I couldn't tell her because I was too scared. Funny, isn't it? She told me I had to say out loud what i was thinking because today it would be too late. And now I'm here, stuck between her life and death, and I can't even imagine life without her. I have just fallen in love with her, I don't wanna lose her.
-Nathan, she'll get out of this. And when she does, you'll grab your grown-up self and tell her how you feel, ok?

Later in the night...

-What happened to me, Amelia?
- You had an accident, you got surgery and now you are fine.
-How are my kids? Does the nanny know?
-Yes, she does. I sent Maggie home to take care of the kids and pay the nanny.
-Are they worried?
-Zola is okay, she is a big lady, she knew you'd be fine. Bailey said he would write a letter to you,  Maggie told him he could come see you tomorrow, so he won't write. And Ellis drew something for you, although I'm not sure what it is haha.
-Good to know they are fine. When Derek died, telling them wasn't an easy thing. I don't want them to suffer anymore.
- And there's also someone who wants to know how you are. Actually he NEEDS to know how you are, or else he'll go crazy.
-Is it Alex?
-Why don't you see yourself?
Nathan entered the room. His wavy hair was just as perfect as always, he came down to me and Amelia left the room. He sat on the edge of the bed and with his beautiful voice, he said:
- Don't ever do that again, you scared me to death. What's important is that you are fine now.
-Why were you so worried?
-Mer, about last night...
-You don't need to do that, it's ok. If you don't wanna tell me, I'll respect that.
-No, Meredith. Listen,  I like you. I'm really close to loving you. I feel something I haven't felt since Megan. And I need you to know it.
-Nathan, I-
-If you're not ready  to get into another relationship yet I'll respect you, but I needed you to know how I felt.
