Miracles don't happen. I mean, they do. But they are not miracles. It's our destiny, our path. It's already settled, but we just don't know it. That is the point of miracles: they are unexpected, that's why we see them so "miraculous". So miracles do happen, but they do not. Yeah, it's hard to explain, but once you get it, it's a lifestyle.

I could see why he was so excited about it, as I said, at some point I needed to talk.
I get up from our "bed" and head to the sea to freshen up a little. Ugh, sea water, hate it. But there's no choice. I then go collect some fruits with Amelia.

-Wow wait. The fact that you are trying to reibuild your family doesn't mean you are trying to replace him, because we both know he will never be replaced. When you met Nathan, you said that, what attracted you about him, was that he didn't imagine for a second that he could ever replace Derek. So you aren't. It is okay to move on, although you never really move on. But It's fine, you are not betraying, you are not replacing. You are living. God dammit Meredith! Live your life! This last thing she said almost broke me. It was the exact same thing Nathan had told me in our last flight. After all, they are both right. I still have a life and so does he!

When we returned to the shore, Nathan and Owen were both laughing, like celebrating. They were dancing, and shouting our names.
I quickly ran at Nathan, grabbing him:
-Nathan! You are injured, you shouldn't be standing or dancing!
-I'm sorry, but you will wanna hear this:
They found us Mer. They are coming for us.
-What?! How?
-Your message in a bottle reached someone in a nearby island. We are going home!
We all started celebrating and dancing, after all, leaving all our differences and fights behind, we all wanted the same thing: to go home safe and sound...
