What are you doing here?

I had taken all of the kids' bags inside the car. I fastened their seatbelts and off we went.
We were singing, playing games. Everything was relaxing and blessfull so far. So far.
We had left the city already and were on the road, when a car coming the other way crashed into ours.
It wasn't too bad. The kids were all ok and so was I, except for one thing: my leg was trapped under the car's hood. I couldn't feel my leg, but as the owner of the other car got off of it, I rolled down the window and shouted:
-What the hell did you do? Watch your freaking way!
-I'm really so-
Meredith?
-Will Thorpe? This must be a joke
-Oh god let me help you. Are you okay?
-I can't feel my leg Will. This metal part is stabbed into my leg. My three kids are in the back seat. Don't let them see all this bleeding.I am scared, what if they have to amputate?
-I won't let it happen. Now let's call 911 and tell them to take you to Grey+Sloan.
Fifteen minutes later, an ambulance came and a crane took my car. Before we even knew it, I was at the ER entrance.
-Do what do we ha- Amelia said as her and Owen opened the ambulance's door.
- oh my god Mer, what the hell happened to you?
-We were going to a family trip when his car crashed into mine. I can't feel my leg Amelia!
-Don't worry, we got you. Let's page ortho and somebody go get Pierce in here please!

-Nah, Will Thorpe? He hit Mer?- Maggie said
-Accidentally, of course.-Amelia added
-why would she go on a road trip without telling anyone?
-She was running away

-Nathan. She had a huge fight with him. He called her a whore.
-What? Oh he will listen to me
-Maggie, where are you going?
-To teach him a lesson

-why the heck did you call my sister a whore? It's all your fault, none of this would have happened if you hadn't done that.
-what would not have happened??
-oh don't pretend you don't know about her car crash. Not like you care though!

-Meredith. This metal part is compromising your nerve, we need to take it out of there or you can be in danger of septicemia.-Will said.
As I saw Maggie coming I shouted as I moaned in pain:
-Can you take care of the kids? Please Maggie. Tell them I'll be fine.
-Of course Mer, don't worry.
-Meredith, do you need me to help you with anything?- Nathan said.
And in response to that I put my middle finger in the air.
When surgery finished
-We could save the leg. Unfortunately, one nerve was too damaged, so she won't be able to walk for a month at least.-Will explained Maggie. Nathan was there too.
-Oh thank god. Did you guys hear? Mom will be okay.
-Is she up for any visitors? Nathan asked
-You can go, although she isn't in a very good mood.-Amelia said.

When Nathan entered my room I was staring at the ceiling. I wouldn't be able to walk for a month! That meant no surgery for a month. No life for a month
-Mer, how are you?
-Great! I can't even walk, but I'm perfect. Now go or you'll regret it. And can you call Dr. Thorpe for me? I need to talk to him.
-Ok.

-Not much has changed. What about you?
-Well I'm temporarily paralyzed, I have my little heart broken. But not much has changed- I said laughing.

-Some ridiculously good-looking doctor that works here. I shouldn't be teling this to you, I'm sorry.
-Nah it's fine. Is it the one that was in the ER?
-Nathan, yes.-just as I finished pronouncing these words, I saw Nathan spying.
