[CAMILA'S POV]
I quickly get out of my chair to follow Madelaine. I see Vanessa stand out of her chair. She looks at me worriedly. I shake my head and Vanessa looks down sadly before sitting back in her chair.

I leave the room and look down the hallway to see Madelaine turning the corner quickly. I follow down the hall. She opens the door and goes outside, so I do as well.

"Madelaine," I say but quickly stop when I see her bent over. I walk closer to her to see she's throwing up. "Oh my gosh. Mads." I say standing next to her. I rub her back to try and soothe her.

She starts to cough. I look at the floor, and see a puddle of blood. I gasp at the sight. She looks at me for a moment before collapsing on top of me. I catch her quickly, holding her up.

"Mads we need to go to the hospital." I say concernedly. "No we don't. I'm fine." Madelaine says trying to stand up but inevitably falling back into my arms. "Madelaine. We are going." I say sternly. She sighs giving up.

I pick her up, and carry her to the car. I drive to the hospital as quickly, and legally as possible. We get to the hospital, and I carry her in. A nurse comes quickly with a wheelchair. "What happened?" The nurse asks.

"We were doing a table read and she threw up and soon started throwing up blood." I explain. "Name?" She asks. "Madelaine Petsch." She nods her head and waves over a doctor. "She needs an endoscopy." The nurse says to the doctor.

He nods before grabbing the wheelchair and taking her away. I try to follow but the nurse stops me, "You will have to wait here until further notice." I nod and the nurse leaves to follow the doctor.

I go to find a seat in the waiting room. I scan the room seeing a lot of sick people, so I go to a more secluded area trying to avoid any illnesses. I decide to text someone so they don't worry to where we ran off to. I decide on texting Casey.

CM: Madelaine and I are at the hospital.
CC: What?! What happened?
CM: Mads was throwing up blood so I brought her in. I thought I should tell you guys so you wouldn't worry.
CC: Thanks for telling me. Please please please keep me updated.
CM: Of course. Ttyl.

Now we wait. What do you do when you wait in a hospital? Stress and cry? Read a book? Pace back and forth? I decide on listening to music. Music has always calmed me down, which is what I really need right now. I keep one earbud out for when the doctor calls.

After about 15 minutes I hear the doctor, "Madelaine Petsch?" I take my earbud out and walk to the doctor quickly. "Is she okay?" I ask before he has a chance to speak.

"I'm doctor Jay." He greets with a smile. I nod my head, too anxious to speak. "Ms. Petsch has a stomach ulcer caused from stress which seems to be bleeding. We will have to go into surgery to get it removed." Dr. Jay explains.

"How long will that take?" I ask. "Well she still needs to recover from the endoscopy. We can start the surgery in maybe 30 minutes. The surgery itself may take a few hours." He states, "You may go home if you would like. We can call you when the surgery is over." I shake my head, "Can I stay, and wait for when the surgery is over?" I ask curiously.

"Yes, of course. Would you like to go to her room with her before the surgery?" He asks politely. "Yes, please." I say. He nods and waves his hand motioning for me to follow.

He takes me to a room that reads 217, and opens the door for me. I say a quiet thank you before walking in. I see Madelaine laying on the hospital bed. She looks so small compared to the big bed.

"Hey Mads." I say softly. She gives me a small smile, "Hi Cami." She says quietly. She looks so tired and pale. "Madelaine. You have an ulcer." I say sadly. "Yeah, I know." She says. "It's bleeding. How did you not feel it?" I ask. "I did but I thought it was pain from me not eating. I didn't know it was an ulcer." She shrugs.

"Mads this is serious. You're about to go into surgery." I say a tear streaming down my face. "Cami. It's not that bad. I'm going to be fine. I'm going into surgery to get it removed." She says completely calm.

"We have an episode to shoot this weekend. Are you going to be able to do it?" I ask concerned. "I will be on antibiotics so I can work through it." She says.

"Mads, you legit carry heavy sandbags." I state. She sighs, "Cami. I will be fine, okay? You don't need to worry. We can figure something out." She says trying to calm me. "I just want you to be okay." I whisper while tears stream down my face. "I will be." She says reassuringly. I nod with a small smile.

"I should text Casey." I say. "Why?" Madelaine asks confused. "I told him we were here so they knew where we were. He told me to keep him updated." I explain while texting him back. "Oh." Is all Madelaine says.

CM: Mads is about to go into surgery.
CC: Why?!
CM: She has a bleeding ulcer.
CC: Omg. Can I come see her once the surgery is over?

"He wants to see you." I say quietly. "Um..." Madelaine says looking down. "Can he come see you?" I ask. She doesn't answer so I wait patiently.

After a few minutes she nods her head slowly. "I'm proud of you." I say honestly. "Why?" She asks confused. "I know it's hard for you. I can tell you're embarrassed but you don't need to be. We are here for you. All of us. We will love you unconditionally no matter what." I say sweetly. She nods and whispers, "I know." I give her a small smile.

CM: Yeah. I will text you once it's over, or you can come chill with me because I don't want to leave the hospital.
CC: Okay. Be there in 10.
CM: Ok see you.

"He's going to wait here with me." I tell Madelaine. "What? You don't have to wait here. I don't want to be a bother." Madelaine says quickly. "I want to. You are never a bother." I reassure. "Really?" She asks almost as if she's surprised at my words. "Yes." I say.

Before either of us could speak again the doctor comes in. "Ready for the surgery?" Dr. Jay asks. Madelaine nods. "Okay. Nurses!" Dr. Jay yells. Three nurses come into the room and start to get Madelaine.

"You may stay in the room if you like. The recliner is way more comfortable than those chairs in the waiting room." He says with a small laugh. I smile. "Thank you." I say before getting into the recliner.

"I love you." Madelaine says. "I love you too, Mads." I reply before the nurses roll her along with the bed out of the room. Dr. Jay closes the door to leave me alone in the surprisingly dark, and silent room.
